Does it indicate interview waiver when I485 is still in acceptance weeks after receiving combo card

So, my I765 was approved late last month. NOA1 is July 18th, and I485's status is hanging on that day and not moved from acceptance at all.

Wondering if this means that I have a high possibility of getting an interview waiver. (i personally do not want it though)

Thanks

we received "interview waiver letter" just under 4 months after NOA-2 for AOS-(I-485), also, I-131 and I-765 are generally approved concurrently, by now you have probably received your combo card. With the combo card you can work and also travel back to china for a visit if you want, "waiver letter people" do seem to wait longer for green card, no reason to be bothered by this, just go with the flow and enjoy your time together and receive no RFE`s for the I-485!!!good luck....

Thank you. Actually I just got this letter in my mailbox. :(

Hopefully it wouldn't take that long. My husband is moving to Singapore for a year, I was so ready to apply I131 for reentry and go live there. But I guess I have to wait a lot longer now!!

you could have filed the I-131 advance parole for free along with the I-485AOS package, I believe you STILL can along with a copy of NOA-1 for I-485, but, travel out of the U.S. for more than 6 months is not advised with advance parole, or for that matter with the 2yr. green card.

you could always apply for the I-131, including a copy of the I-797 receipt formletter for the I-485. Fee is waived when done this way.

as to 'indications' - no - sorry - waiting this long is no indication, one way or the other.

I have AP. The I131 I was talking about was reentry permit not advance parole. They are different. Different application type section when file form I131 on part 2 .

I'm not going to go out of the country with AP to risk it.

And as far as i know, the re entry permit is a book. not a card or a piece of paper. and it is for pr. and if you see my signature, i already have my ap.

No problem. Yes, I have the combo card in hand. And we plan to move to Singapore for a year next year. It would be nice to have the GC and then apply for the reentry permit to go there. But now, it see a bit impossible now. Have to delay everything!
