Hi there!

I filed my case (I-129F) on July 7th 2014 and it´s been nearly 8 months now and still haven´t heard anything from TSC.

Yesterday I saw TSC updated their status and they´re currently reviewing cases of August 2014, which undoubtedly makes me think they lost my case.

We even asked help to a congresswoman who contacted them on February 18th (when this new update wasn´t on yet), but she hasn´t had any response from them either.

Has anyone been in this situation before? What do you guys would recommend?

The good news is that you're officially outside of the "normal processing times", which means you can go to the uscis site and request an inquiry on your case. They should get to your case in a couple of business days after inquiry has been made.

You are past processing time, so call USCIS and request to speak to a Tier 2 agent. Don't take no for an answer, and demand something gets done with your case.

And for those of you who are curious: Seve did not recieve an email or text. I have the USCIS case tracker and it said our case had been approved. I had to ask him to double check the case number was correct and he logged into USCIS website and confirmed. I have been jumping up and down screaming. I am so glad we got approved while I am here in the states visiting Seve :)

Wow - even sweeter news sharing it together.
