In case anyone is interested, i ran the script today to get an update. based on the same id's (src#'s assigned to id's for confidentiality) from last time.

18th : 10 petitions : 4 approvals : +3 from last time, no RFE

22th : 12 petitions : 2 approvals : +1 from last time, no RFE

24th : 27 petitions : 3 approvals : 5 RFE : +3 approvals, +3 RFE

25th : 06 petitions : 1 approval : 2RFE : +1 RFE

30th : 34 petitions : 7 approvals : 6 RFE : +1 approval, +5 RFE

Total petitions scanned: 89

Total approvals : 17

Total RFE : 13

Total worked on since last date and only out of 89 scanned : 17

also picked up a random july 28th case that was approved. so im sure they worked on a lot more than 17 since last scan. Actually, it would be at least 18. :P

Note: not complete list. if you dont like it, dont read it. thanks :)

Also think i figured out a pattern in how they pick the cases they work on, but not too certain yet. will update as i gather more.

Ran the script, new data:

24th : 27 petitions : 8 approvals : 6 RFE : +5 approvals, +1 RFE since last time.

Hopefully we'll get ours soon. ^_^

We filed in July and we are still waiting. I was on hold for over an hour the other day to connect to a Tier 2 person and they looked at my application and asked me a bunch of questions I had filled out on the I-129F to make sure they were talking to me...well anyway, the assured me that I would have word before the end of the month. And so I wait. Only 8 days left in the month.

I think they are moving pretty fast right now. It has been such a long haul and I guess the only way to look at it is that it is down to a few days now.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

That is great news.. what a relief eh and that you will be moving ahead.

Definitely! Any news is good news at this point. The guy I spoke to about our RFE said it means they are about to approve your case....best of luck :)

I know weekends can be a little bittersweet here because we know there is no work being done on our cases, but I just wanted to say hang in there guys. We still have another week left this month that could bring good news.....but even if it doesn't we are all so close. We've gone through all this stress and pain that will make getting that NOA2 even sweeter ;) Anyways best of luck to everyone...we filed July 1st, RFE Feb 3, so we're still waiting with you guys....hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Don't worry. Usually they approve in max 30 days from what I heard

I wonder how long does it take to receive an RFE in the mail? I got online notice on February 17th that an RFE was being sent to me. Now a week later I still have not received anything in the mail. If they sent the RFE on the 17th when I received the online notice then surely it should have arrived to my place by now. I suppose the only possibility is that TSC figured that I enjoyed the 6 1/2 month wait for the RFE so much that I would like to wait a few more weeks to receive it in the mail so they didn't send it on the 17th when I received the online notice?

You should receive it before Friday. 17th was last Tuesday and most likely you got the text at night on 17th and mail went out on Wednesday or Thursday. Usually 10 calendar days is average time to receive the mail.

I know it really sucks how long the wait is just to be united with one's other half. But looks like you are over the toughest part of the process. From here on, things are somewhat predictable. Best of luck. If you can, please do let us know what's the RFE for so we can help you respond quickly and get your approval.

Our RFE took six days to come....I'm sure you'll get it any day now
