Hi all,

July filer here. I have been following this thread for a long time now, but have never posted. I've been really frustrated with the system, and had just about decided to quit checking my online status for a few weeks when I got a text at 6:00pm on the dot today saying my case status was updated. When I checked online, it said approved!!! The strange thing is that the online system says my date of approval was February 12--though I have been checking my case status constantly and this is the first time I have seen anything.

Just wanted to give everyone some hope--your case may actually be approved already, and you just don't know it yet due to the online system! Maybe there were more approvals last week than we all thought. Good luck to everyone still waiting; today marked 7 months for me, so I know how terrible it feels.

After reading your post, that date clicked with me and I looked again at my case status. You are exactly right about the date! I made a phone call this morning requesting to expedite my case and I thought that was the reason I received the approval text today; however, after looking again at the date mine also says February 12, 2015, so it was actually done last week and I just didn't get the notice until today. That would have been an awfully nice Valentine's Day present had we known, but whatever the reason the long wait is over....now on to the next step!!

I received an approval notice (finally) at 5:30PM today via text and an e-mail. I have an account with USCIS and signed up for their mobile and e-mail alerts. The approval date was February 13th so I think their online and notification systems were lagging last week (I checked every day).

My NOA1 was July 7 so glad that this part is over. Good luck to everyone still waiting, it will be soon!

Got the mail today...... 'Notice date Feb 10'

No txt no email no update to my online status

APPROVED TODAY!! Just got the text and email, official NOA2 should be in the mail in a few days! FINALLY!!!

Received a text message and email that my status had changed when I checked it was a Request for Initial Evidence Notice Was Mailed ? just when I thought this wait was finally over. Any idea how long it takes to receive this in mail ? Also what do they ask for I m sure I fill in and sent in all paperwork and evidence and pictures and all ?.

Ours took about 6 days (including the weekend) to arrive in the mail. For us they asked for evidence of the two year meeting requirement stating the itinerary I submitted didn't have the year....don't worry, I'm sure its something you can put together in a couple days. When I spoke to a tier 2 agent after reading the letter he told me to hurry up and get it in because that is the last step before approving you petition. He also said to do certified mail. Hope this answered your question and I hope you hear from them soon.

Still waiting, but at least our VJ timeline estimate for NOA2 changed from March 4 to February 23... I really hope this week is also our week.

Honestly, I cant wait to celebrate with Maria & Seve ... She is been very supportive here and we got the same NOA1 dates so I believe today should be your day too God's willing.

The TSC waiting period seems endless and crazy but its worth celebrating approval.

No worries :) I too was running to the mail box everyday. Oh and one last thing...the paper that says put on top of your evidence, make sure you do that because I heard of some people having delayed processing just because that sheet wasn't on the top :/ Good luck

No worries :) I too was running to the mail box everyday. Oh and one last thing...the paper that says put on top of your evidence, make sure you do that because I heard of some people having delayed processing just because that sheet wasn't on the top :/ Good luck
