I've followed this and the June Filers thread, but have never posted. You guys have always helped me (on a daily basis) get through these hard times and I wanted to say thank you! I also wanted to pass on that we also were approved at 8:30p PT 1/23/15. I hope this shows the TSC moving towards more July approvals.

Again I can't thank you all enough for helping each other, me, and people like me who don't post but do follow this thread on a daily basis. Hope this helps and much love to all of you! Our hopes and best is with you all as this becomes both closer and increasingly difficult.

-Mike

Congrats. Happy for you. Best of luck ahead!

Thank you for all the kind words everyone!! Luke and I are starting our massive research session now and gathering everything. Luckily I brought a whole bunch of stuff to him when I visited York, England this past November. He's all set to schedule a medical as soon as we can secure a case number!

Congratulations to both of you! 3 July people approved yesterday!

It was great to open Igor and see the approvals. Last night was tough. I had a complete meltdown and cried myself to sleep. Starting to regret only going to visit Seve for 2 weeks in March but at the same time I'm not sure if I can handle saying goodbye again :(

I really hope next week brings more good news. :)

I know the feeling. It's hard to watch people who have not gone through this or had a very short trip say "be patient, it's coming". I would love to say the same, but my fiance and I despaired too nearing the end. I started doing everything possible - contacting TSC directly, Omsbudsman case, screaming at TSC at random intervals over Skype to my stunned fiance, Senator, Congressman.... and more. It really is a desperate feeling knowing it is in someone else's hands.

It WILL come. As much as you want to be with your fiance, revel in a few things that you can still do being all by yourself. You will see a response from USCIS and when you do, it will be amazing. It will feel like none of that anger and despair mattered, like it was worth it. Hang in there, we're all still here for you!

APPROVED!!!

I was checking our status throughout the day and especially after 8:00pm EST to no avail. I was about to head to bed so my fiance and I could do our normal weekend routine of being on Skype together all weekend and decided to check one last time... AND WE WERE APPROVED!!!!!!!

I honestly can't help but think the Senator inquiry did it. I just received an email back yesterday from my contact there who stated TSC was having our file pulled and assigned to an officer.

I woke my fiance up at 11:40pm EST, 4:40am GMT time(his time) to tell him. Shaking and freaking out! Thankfully it's now to a stage where we feel it is manageable by us. He is going to work on scheduling his medical as soon as we can get an NVC case number.. boy this weekend will be fun reading up on everything again!

Thank you everyone <3

When did your Senator put a request in? My response took a month to be answered by USCIS. I am not sure if my Senator's office followed up or just waited around for them. I have a feeling my Senator asked them to make a judgment on our case, rather than just asking for an update... I don't think each Senator's office works the same though. Hopefully you hear back soon!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! So happy for you!!! Best of luck the rest of the way and please keep us posted :)

You and I contacted our Senator's around the same time - Mine was December 9. I swore it was later but I just checked my email and nope, it was the 9th.

Rachel at Senator Toomey's office got back to me the next day and then I waited until January 22nd to request if she had any update. She had actually sent me an update earlier in the day on January 22nd but Gmail lumped it together as a conversation so I missed it. Then yesterday we got the approval. Hopefully the URGENT message gets some attention and an answer.. This is frustrating for everyone waiting this long - it's not acceptable.

Amazing! So Friday was a good day at the USCIS. Congrats to everyone!

And I was despairing at Igor's list - there are easily 25-30% of cases mis-listed at TSC that are actually CSC. No wonder the average processing time is hovering around 160d, when it is actually 200d! :)

Fingers crossed for next week with loads of approvals for you July guys and maybe even some lucky August ones!
