I feel calling does no good. I told my Fiancé I can't call anymore to here the same thing over and over. My Senator can't even get a response from USCIS. I am just frustrated to no end.

I thought when we started this in July that I would be on my way to Ghana for his interview by Feb. Here we are still waiting just for the approval. Maybe I will be going there for his interview in April. So many plans put on hold....actually our life is on hold because someone in an office is controlling it. It's a matter of an approval stamp!!!

APPROVED!!!

I was checking our status throughout the day and especially after 8:00pm EST to no avail. I was about to head to bed so my fiance and I could do our normal weekend routine of being on Skype together all weekend and decided to check one last time... AND WE WERE APPROVED!!!!!!!

I honestly can't help but think the Senator inquiry did it. I just received an email back yesterday from my contact there who stated TSC was having our file pulled and assigned to an officer.

I woke my fiance up at 11:40pm EST, 4:40am GMT time(his time) to tell him. Shaking and freaking out! Thankfully it's now to a stage where we feel it is manageable by us. He is going to work on scheduling his medical as soon as we can get an NVC case number.. boy this weekend will be fun reading up on everything again!

Thank you everyone <3

When did your Senator put a request in? My response took a month to be answered by USCIS. I am not sure if my Senator's office followed up or just waited around for them. I have a feeling my Senator asked them to make a judgment on our case, rather than just asking for an update... I don't think each Senator's office works the same though. Hopefully you hear back soon!

Congratulations! Very much deserved. I guess we'll never know if it was because of the inquiry on your behalf or because it was just your time (actually, well past your time, haha).

And it's interesting to note that even the case status page doesn't get updated until late at night, at least in your case.

Thanks! We are both freaking out ;)

Yeah, the coincidence is odd that a day after I receive the response it's approved.. could just be good timing (even if it was really slow!)

I checked the page at 8:40pm.. and 9:30. My emails I received were sent at 11:30pm, so in this case it was quite late.

Hey Congratulations!... wow ! I am starting to be able to sense how great this must be for you and you know, we all go through this part together, to know that someone has got there and things are actually happening gives me hope. It is never going to be in any logical order, but knowing that they are still there somewhere doing their job helps.

I wish they would move faster. Come on guys !!... Now we know you are sitting at your desks and things can happen !!!!

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

I've followed this and the June Filers thread, but have never posted. You guys have always helped me (on a daily basis) get through these hard times and I wanted to say thank you! I also wanted to pass on that we also were approved at 8:30p PT 1/23/15. I hope this shows the TSC moving towards more July approvals.

Again I can't thank you all enough for helping each other, me, and people like me who don't post but do follow this thread on a daily basis. Hope this helps and much love to all of you! Our hopes and best is with you all as this becomes both closer and increasingly difficult.

Congratulations to both of you! 3 July people approved yesterday!

It was great to open Igor and see the approvals. Last night was tough. I had a complete meltdown and cried myself to sleep. Starting to regret only going to visit Seve for 2 weeks in March but at the same time I'm not sure if I can handle saying goodbye again :(

I really hope next week brings more good news. :)

I totally understand the dilemma you feel deciding to visit. We had the same conversation for my NYE trip over - but I took comfort in believing it would be the last time we would ever have to be made to separate. You are nearly there now!

Congrats Megan and Luke. 3 july approvals in a day is good progress. We never know what pulled an approval but it's done. Let's hope we all get it next week. So I assume they aren't sending emails anymore?
