It is upsetting that an August filer was approved while we still wait 6+ months!! Few have been approved this week.....the entire process is sad to say the least!

It's like when last month they were primarily processing June but we saw random July approvals. Now we gonna see August approvals randomly.

It is indeed sad. Expedites, CSC, or random approvals..... it is unfair that we have to wait over 6 months just for NOA2 while others get it in a month or two.

If they were moving at a good pace it wouldn't be so bad.. there seem to have been very few approvals lately. I keep waiting for them to kick in and make some real progress.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Indeed it is unfair, frustrating and sad! There are no words to describe what this wait does to our emotions.

But at this pace the wait timings are going to continue to mount and soon it'll be a year before approvals come. Is that a way to discourage K1 filings and just have people get married and do CR1/IR1 ?

On Sunday it is exactly 6 months since we got our NOA1. I have seriously started to hate weekends just because I know I won't hear any news. Feeling very negative tonight.

I think everyone got the December 9th update because the new system was up and running properly.

it is normal for everyone of July filers to feel negative because we are passing the 7 months and nothing , it is the first step then you have another suffering for transfer the case to NVC then to the USEM , OMG , it is unbelievable thing ,,,, we are getting more exhausted day by day :(

The day ends today it will mark over 200 days since my noa1. I filed july 1-2 and got noa1 date for july 08. arn changed july 10. I am beyond furious right now. I have hesitated to contact them but am beginning to think I might have to.

Yes I know what you mean.... the best summer we've had in years here and I'm not making the most of it.

The sadness, furiosity, stress are all part of our daily routine now. I hope we all get NOA2 today. What's even more frustrating is the fact that contacting them does make things either.

please VJ members , can you tell me what is meaning of ARN and when should i get it ?

Alien Registration Number. It is assigned to beneficiary. You don't need it and may not get it until a visa has been issued.

My congressman mailed me the reply from TSC...... Same thing....... I am within the wait period and nothing can be done about it. I stopped calling texas because it is useless. The wait is tougher than I thought. I think I need to meditate or freeze myself from here onwards :) what scars me is if there is any RFE to delay further. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
