Yeah, a few of the latest approvals are either Phillipines or just plainly wrong listed as TSC when the state of the applicant suggests CSC. It is a recurrent problem, but very annoying as it screws up the timeline predictions.

Agree... there needs to be something at the point of joining VJ that ensures a double check on that. It consistently confuses the results and as the situation is now gives us all false hopes..

I have sent a message to the person from Hawaii explaining logically she would have been processed in California and I kindly asked her to change her timeline so the timeline prediction for us waiting 6+ months doesn't get messed up.

How about the couple in Phoenix, would they be processed in California too? I'm not really good at knowing who goes were... If yes, then I can send them a message as well.

I have sent them a message too. Hopefully they will read and update their timelines! I don't like when Igor's list gets messed up.

oh great, thank you. Yes, its tough enough without any false information to mix things up. I really hope something happens soon and we can't be too far off, but every day matters.

I asked to have some moderator intervention on this but I guess it's too big of a policing issue. Would be nice if the processing center couldn't be filled in (somehow) until NOA1 is received (requires first three letters of Receipt Number?). Anyway here's a list I threw together to help me articulate the imbalance in cases being sent to TSC vs CSC - I pulled from separate sources - should have referenced them but it was just for me at the time. I am hoping today is the day to hear some good July filer news!

You gave me an awesome idea for a suggestion to the people who made the forum! I will post it in the suggestion forum. Maybe it should be a requirement that you put in your receipt number (would never be visible on the site though) but it would automatically sort you as a Texas or California filer and we would not have to deal with this problem ever again.

Even if it was just the first three - SRC, etc. it would sort the problem - same for transfers.

Yes, exactly :) I have posted about this in the suggestion forum. Doubt they will change it but it's worth a try to sort out the list.

Or it could be by states, they could make necessary put state information and then it automatically choose TSC or CSC. And also just a little explanation about it.

Yes, this is true as long as TSC doesn't send some of their stuff to California to ease up their workload. Because I would assume you get assigned a California case number if this happen.

Yep. I thought about that too, since you can choose "Yes" for transfer it could show you TSC or CSC and then change service center. But people probably would still do the same mistake, oh well. Maybe a short explanation about it under where you fill the service center would help a lot.
