I understand that we should keep as positive as possible but this week is half and i'm getting frustrated with the poor TCS's advance (Just 1 case this week :S). In 10 days we all will be over 6 months of waiting... maybe is good to set up expectations for February? :( The best luck for everyone here, wishing we all get our approvals soon to be close to our lovers.

-----Random question!

-> Does any one knows if a case submitted to request a son/daughter over 21yo that was file in the Vermont office can be requested to change to other office? (I have a friend waiting for 2 years his approval from that office, and now that i'm about to hit 6 months i can't imagine his situation and want to try to help him)

Thanks!

James and Jhon.

I wasn't saying most of us will get any news in January. I am expecting my NOA2 in either February or March. I am just saying that after all this months of June being processed it's nice to finally see July people being approved :)

Yep i understand Maria&Seve, hoping they work hard and end June soon! just doing a quick search i found at this day:

  • 213 June Cases
    • 146 done (21 of them in January)
    • 67 not done (But still close! )
  • 205 July Cases
    • 57 (11 of them in January and non of them from Philipines yay)
    • 148 not done

So definitely i agree with you, it is nice to see they are finishing June and working on July already :star:

James and Jhon.

Just spoke with one rude Tier 1 who claimed she's been working there for 14 years and therefore whatever info she give is what the tier 2 will give too... She said they are still working on June files for now and that the processing period has changed; that its no longer 5 months again cos they have a lot of 129f and which made them had backlogs thereby changing the processing time to 6-7 months.

This is really not a good news if its kinda true.... I cant believe we have to wait for 7 months and then couple with NVC period and booking a date for interview which is not in anyway predictable as its a game of chances for early available interview date.

All this driving me crazy ...lolz

I think this, in a way is great news. From when I became a member until this moment, all reports from anyone calling them and they would say what month they are processing they would always say May. Even when they were halfway through June. It might not feel like it, but this is good news!

I just spoke to a Tier 2 officer and he put in a service request for me. He also told me it shouldn't be much longer I have to wait. He couldn't tell me if my case was assigned to an officer. Basically I have no more information now than I did before I called. So I wait...and wait....and wait some more.

I can only be positive about this because our time will come soon I hope.

I wish I shared your optimism. When we filed, the official processing date was February. We assembled our packet in July. They were, at the time, processing March. That was nearly 6 months ago. In the midst of all this, they transferred a batch of petitions to CSC, supposedly to catch up. We have watched them fall steadily further and further behind. Processing these petitions once a week? I really don 't see how they are ever going to catch up.

They won't be able to catch up but I refuse to let this break me :) When I filed all processing times indicated that we were going to have our NOA2 in November and that by now I'd be all done and getting ready for my March wedding. So I have decided to be happy about the tiny good news because otherwise I won't be able to get myself out of bed in the mornings.

I called at about 4pm and was told that they can transfer anyone to tier 2 until after 4:30. Maybe something was going on like a meeting or so. I dunno.

Here here! We've come too far now. I'm just trying to focus on what I can do, not what I can't control at the moment.

Our wedding bands came in yesterday, and my stepmom is starting to make my dress, so that's where my heart is now. Not arguing with jerks at the USCIS. :D

She's making your dress? That is so cool! :D Must be so great when people ask where you bought your dress to say "my stepmom made it" :)

We have pretty much everything ready (dress, rings etc), we're just waiting for a date at this point :)

You have a good attitude. :)

I'm trying :)

Yeah. We're hoping to get married at the local Renaissance fair, so we wanted to dress up. If he's not here in time then we'll just have a themed wedding. :D
