I don't know if this is a rumor or something but I did see someone say that they sent the applications to NVC on Fridays so maybe that's why we don't see approvals? Like I said, it's a rumor and I can see if I can find where I saw it. But it could be an explanation as to why.

I didn't even know that, so can't deny or confirm. As for explanations for USCIS, I don't believe there ever will be any. We live in hope. We will all be approved. It's just a matter of when. Hopefully they really get stuck into July petitions this week.

On the upside, apparently TSC does better at sending files to the NVC than CSC.. While I don't want to sound like I am doing TSC vs. CSC, at least we have a one up on that and aren't lagging behind on every front. Granted, NVC may be behind but we won't be waiting on TSC to send them!

And yes, let's keep our fingers crossed that just because it's a short week they won't slack off and keep up the good work approving people like they did last week :)

Humm I'm not sure about that, mine on the website says it was sent on January 14 to NVC, which was a Wednesday. I guess they don't have a right day to send it, so maybe when they do it we see less approvals(?) humm

do you mean TCS sent the cases to NVC without mailing the approval letter?

We were just discussing the theory of TSC sending applications away to NVC on Fridays because we never (or rarely) see any approvals on Fridays. But apparently I was wrong.

A few months back Josh, from the June thread, analyzed the processing/approval patterns at TSC. He found that each day of the week certain types of cases were processed and basically only one day of the week was for working down the list of I-1129fs (non priorities, RFEs, etc). Remember too that TSC processes petitions other than I-129fs. That's why I was encouraged for us when we had two days of significant approvals last week - hoping that a change was made to the schedule to accomodate increased processing of I-129fs.

I had forgotten that they process other visas too. That explains a lot!

And hopefully they will continue with the two day approvals instead of just one. Maybe it is true that they are speeding up the process now in January.

Josh could come back and do another report like he used to do. Would be really nice know how things are actually going.

I spoke to a Tier 2 representative a few minutes ago who told me that my case has been assigned to an adjudicator (although he couldn't provide me with the exact date it was assigned). He also said to expect a decision in the next 30 days, and to call back if I haven't heard anything.

Has anyone else received similar information? I'm just trying to get an idea of whether he was feeding me a line of BS or telling the truth.

Also, interestingly enough, the Tier 1 representative I spoke to admitted that TSC was "behind" even before I used that word, which was the first time I've heard anyone admit it to me on the phone.

quick question. I'm trying to sort out all the forms I will need once this is all done. From my end as a petitioner, is it really just the affidavit of support I need to fill out? And which form is that I-864 or I-134. I'm so confused.
