Can anyone tell me where to find the ARN? As far as I know we only have our case number. Help, please!

Wow. Six months and no NOA2?! I realize your not a Philippine filer but my God. It could be a year before the interview...

Seriously? on what grounds do you make that assumption?

Also can you complete your timeline as it can be helpful to others with similar circumstances to yourself.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Works for me. I didn't appreciate your assumption and you added nothing to the conversation. The young man (or young lady), by his/her own post which I quoted, has been waiting an extremely long time just to get his NOA2. I sympathized with him and noted the whole process might take a year. Your (bizarre) reply to my post made assumptions I cannot understand.

Looks like you're on your third try with the K1 process. Thank you

Often things move a lot faster after NOA2 ... it is TSC that is the hold up, I think it was your inference that added nothing to the conversation. Dont make any assumptions about my situation either as you are completely on the wrong track... oh and did you notice the title of this thread?

You're the one who made assumption in the first place, Andie. You could have just ignored my post but instead, your obsessed with it now. Hence you're reading this post and will read anything more I right on the topic. thank you for that

I assumed nothing and "inferred" nothing.

As far as the "wrong track" you noted, it's based entirely on what you post at the end of every one of your posts: Looks like you've applied for a K1 three times now. Started in 2011, in fact. If it's wrong, don't ask me about it. You wrote it.

1st attempt: Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed.

2nd attempt: Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number :(

Dec/Jan - NZ Consulate says insufficient ties to NZ to permit my visa into US so we met up in Canada. (not enough time together but great anyway)

Back in NZ/Florida :( Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 . This time !!!

No, you were the one who came here and acted all rude. She only asked you how you can assume that it will be a year? Which is wrong anyway. They are July 21 filers which means they will get their NOA2 either end of this year or February if everything goes well. Let's say February to make this easy. That means that, based on average time for NVC to send stuff to her embassy, she'll have her case at the embassy in March. Then it all depends on how fast she can get an interview. I don't know about them or your embassy but the Swedish embassy currently has a waiting time of 8 days to get an appointment. So no, it won't be a year. It may feel like it, but it's not a year.

Everyone who is not from the Philippines have to wait 6 months because we don't get expedite. It's completely normal at this stage. And this is the Non-Philippines thread. I recommend you go to this one: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/505281-k1-july-2014-filers/

And before you call me rude (I just know you probably will). I am not. I am defending the nice people here who you are being really rude to. So from now on, if you decide to reply with more rudeness I will Ignore, block you and depending on the severity of your rudeness: report you. I am not going to accept this thread getting closed down when we've had so many nice conversations going on.

Now, can we all get back to the nice atmosphere we had going on before this thing?

and lastly :time:

I am not sure at what point you'll get the ARN, it might not come until you actually get your visa. Because if I am not mistaking you won't need it until you file for AOS.

Please do whatever you like. My God, why are you making such a big deal out of me anyway? If you don't like my posts, just block ignore report, whatever you like. How much time need you tell me about this.

It all started bc my VJ search brought me here bc of the Philippines being in the thread. Also, I've encountered many other non-Filipino filers who got to NOA2 very quickly.

The first post I made expressed surprise at the length of the Petitioner's approval. Please go back and read it yourself.

Before you call me rude (you already did, actually) I am not.

I already filled my timeline, but thank you for being so concerned about my application. Are you offering to help my fiancé and I out with other questions? If so, thank you. I may just take you up on that.

In the meantime, can I continue to chat with nice people on this board and continue learning about the visa process? Thank you.

Please look at all my posts and read them, and if you want to judge me, and report, then please go right ahead. Whatever you think is best.

May I go back to pleasant conversations on this board now? Thank you and enjoy your Sunday.
