I recieved this message as well. It's better than sitting in purgatory wishing they would fix it.

Spent three hours on hold waiting for a Tier II officer only to be told that they were processing April and that I had to wait, she then hung up on me.

wow....I spoke to a Tier 2 officer last week and he was very helpful. Told me when my case was looked at and that my case was in a queue to be assigned to officer.

Good luck to you.

Same here. Ironically it happened just after my Senator inquired about our case which has now hit 5 months... but either way, I was spammed with emails this morning and they all say case updated. Our July 16th ARN change is missing though.

Exactly the same situation here; the phone system is also working but old status. It came through whilst I was on the phone to USCIS so I am waiting for a Tier II call back. I will let you know what I am told.

I just received the same email, but I can only see my case status if I login into the website, I called USCIS and they said they could not transfer me to a Tier II agent at the moment to call back in 3 hours, on the Brightside we have some information I just hope Tier II agents can have some information because two weeks ago they told me that our background checks were already completed and I was just waiting for an adjudicator to grab my case but at this point I don't see that as being true.

I just spoke with Tier II - his words.

"The website is not accurate." He did mention a glitch.

"You are outside of 5 months, so check back in 1-2 weeks." He did seem like he thought this is doable. (fingers crossed)

"You have not been assigned to an adjudicator yet."

"There is nothing you can do to move things along, you're free to go to your service center or call your representative, but my experience is it doesn't make a difference." I asked him what could I do.

I just got my call back from a Tier 2 officer.....She said the same thing that the officer told me last week. My case is pending....however everything looks good and my case is still in a queue to be assigned to an officer. She also said they were processing May cases......not true...I actually told her what the Tier 2 officer told me last week, then she said let me see where your case is. Of course it's still at TSC!!

All I can say is everything looks good on my case I just have to wait for an officer to approve it!! I am staying hopeful and will not call them again until I hit my 5 months in 13 days!

My Senator is going to check on my case as soon as I return the form I received from them yesterday.

That is the same status as mine.....everything is good just waiting for my case to be assigned to an adjudicator.

I pray the 1 or 2 week time frame is correct in your case. I am not far behind you.

I spoke to tier II agent he was a bit of a jerk he said everything they told you is a lie, July cases have not even begun to get looked at give it at leas 2-3 months and maybe they look at your case ???? I don't know who to believe anymore one Tier II says my case is just waiting to get picked up by an adjudicator it should be 2-3 weeks, and now the other Jerk says maybe 2-3 months..... So frustrated right now

Seems useless talk with this tier II, don't get upset with that because seems like they are clueless as much we are, actually I guess we know more than them. They didn't finish June yet and July fillers reach 5 months now on Dec which means we HAVE to hear something this month or next. Hopefully this month. The average time for approval is 170 days :) (according to Josh1987 from June thread, if you guys didn't check what he's doing yet you should totally run there! He is being amazing and really helpful!)

Just to contribute my experience with a Tier 2 officer...They received my case July 7 and the officer tells me the best course of action is to wait until January 7th which would be 6 months from my file date. The system could then allow me to process an inquiry for being out of the processing time. Then I would have a confirmation number and then I should contact them again after two weeks and that should push it forward.... Overall the experience is pretty useless and am hoping to get an NOA2 before that, but I wasn't expecting much more than that.

Just a tip, if you use their call back system, it does work. I refused to wait 63 minutes on hold.

I have spoke with 2 different Tier 2 officers. The both said my case looked good and it is being processed....waiting for adjudicator. The first person you spoke to a few weeks ago is correct. Stay positive we are getting approved soon!!!! I pray everyday that I will hear something. That keeps me going every day! I am sorry you ended up talking with a Jerk today, they really don't know what we deal with on a daily basis. So put that call out of your mind, he was just rude and heartless!!

Yes the call back does work. I was called back in an hour. The first time I was on hold for 2 1/2 hours and I said never again...hahah

It's all a guessing game at TSC...We just have to pray we get our approvals this month!!!
