I sent my package July 14, 2014 got the NOA text on 7/18/2014. I ave been checking almost every day for still crickets.... I called today the rep told me they are still processing June 6, 2014 all you can do is wait, even your case is assigned to an officer that doesn't mean he can get to mine yet. Which makes no sense to me, I figured calling customer service is a waste of time...I'm getting very fustrated with TSC.. Every day VJ changed my timeline adjudication date...:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Hang in there....it is really rough. I filed on July 01 and there have definitely been some really rough days but somewhere somehow if you can find comfort in the fact that everyday of frustration is another day closer to being with our loved ones. I pray we all hear something this week, so everyone can end this stressful limbo of a journey....but it will end soon....stay strong daphnee...TSC/Customer Service aren't worth stressing over (mainly because for the most part they don't care).

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement, it is so hard but I'm hopeful, like you said they do not care...

Considering I know people here have gotten way more help from their senators looking into their cases I am disappointed and I am not giving up.

Hey Maria&Seve, honestly since you've introduced me to this forum, have been going through your messages and that of Loveinghana and let me tell you that you are doing a great job Maria cos your courage has kept mine alive too on this whole processing stuff.

Pls don't be disappointed nor put hope in any congressman or senator. All will play out well soon and there will surely be light at the end of the tunnel.

TSC are just full of sh*t cos they seems to be bias in their approvals. --- that's my own view (seeing some august and December fillers approved).

Writing to Senator Mark Warner was a total waste of time. He's team that are supposed to help you with USCIS must have just called and spoke to a Tier 1 from the message we got from him. "Currently, I-129F applications out of the Texas Service Center (TSC) are being processed for those that were received on or before June 6, 2014. Your application was received on July 22, 2014." Thank you for nothing.

I think the days of "making a call" to a US Senator or Congressman and them effectively intervening on a constituents behalf are gone, for the most part (unless they sit on the committee that oversees USCIS/HS/DS perhaps). However, if enough representatives call it raises the pressure on USCIS to get the backlog cleared. That seems to be their management style... or lack there of.

My mother is very involved in politics in my home state, early on before we submitted the I129f she inquired with her congressman's office about the process and was told quite clearly they have no authority there any more - moving petitions along. They could call and inquire, but don't expect any results.

But as I said before, my opinion is the more USCIS is aware we are aware the better.

Best wishes for another double digit approval week.

Thank you so much it really warms my heart to hear this! I am not putting any hope in my Senator I just hope he would answer with more than the usuall USCIS bs about them processing June 6. I thought he would put more effort into it. I am not asking or expecting anything out of this other than the simple questions of "where is our file?" Is it just laying around somewhere or has it reached someones desk. I wrote in the message how frustrating it is on their new webpage where you get even less info then before the update.

Wel I am giving it one more try. I had an internship with a person who was elected by Warner so I am asking for a favor of her and we will see. I am not asking them to speed up the process, I know they can't do it. I am just asking for answers to some questions.

My fiancé also lives in Virginia, any luck in writing to Tim Kaine? Sorry to hear that Warner's assistance was useless, we plan on writing to both senators and congressman as soon as we hit 5 months in two weeks. Hoppas ni får besked snart!

I first contacted my Senator the beginning of Dec 2014. They have sent three emails requesting info on my case. The last one was marked URGENT!. However, no response from USCIS at all. My Senator's office has tried for us and I am very appreciative of their efforts. I will continue to be positive because I know this week or next I should hear something.

Every night waiting for a text and checking my case status at least three or four times is depressing. However, all of that frustration vanishes when my Fiancé calls. That is what this process is about being with the one person who makes our days bright, full of joy and love. We hang in there and stay positive because our day for approval is just around the corner!!

Feeling with you! And getting a dark, dark premonition of the future. :crying:

Keep an eye on the processing times USCIS posts - they should update agin mid February. If you haven't heard anything by then you should be outside normal processing times and can enquire via e-request. And get your representatives on board!

:-/ Today we are hitting 6 months and well so far i was kinda expecting this happens and now thinking about 7 months is really frustrating, i just can tell you keep hanging in there and as soon the USCIS update the offical report passed your filed date request the TSC to put hands on your case since they will be officialy out of the normal times.

it sucks to keep waiting for this but after all this hard times we all will get so be beside our lovers. This worth it.

James and Jhon.
