This is one experience that has aged me beyond belief. Ater waiting since 11/1/06 for an interview date we finally have a date of 2/27/07. Am I happy?

I have mixed feelings since I decided to go to Jamaica after a year of not seeing my husband. I have paid for a hotel, taken leave from work, booked a flight for 2/7 -2/23/07.

Now :dance::angry::crying::blink:

It'll probably cost you $150 to change the return date -- not too bad -- I imagine the biggest problem is that you must commit to a return date before the interview.

Our Timeline

08/03/06 -- Met online, have chatted almost every day since then

09/29/06 -- Met in person at the Lima Airport. 10 wonderful days together.

10/31/06 -- I-129F mailed to TSC

11/09/06 -- CSC cashes the check

11/14/06 -- NOA-1 Received

11/16/06 -- We get 11 days together in Arequipa (Betty's home town). I meet her family for the first time.

12/28/06 -- We get 19 days together in Arequipa. I'll be back in February.

01/18/07 -- Touched! First sign of life.

01/19/07 -- 12:10 AM, NOA-2! APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! On to the next step.

01/19/07 -- Touched again, around 11 AM. I guess we're on the way to the NVC!!

Yes, I am now in process of extending leave from work, extending hotel reservation, requesting a flight change so that I can attend the interview. This is a good thing yes :wacko: . He will more than likely come later since the actual receipt of the visa will be unknown. At least he will be here, hopefully in March.

Hi, Thanks, the waiting period wasn't my idea :crying: The Embassey has had the I29F since September. I think they must think I'm an enemy of Jamaica. This should have been over! :angry: The 129F expired 1/5/07. And I have bombarded them with calls and email to no avail since September.
