Congrats ! :D:D

Does anyone know if I should expect any notification saying that my case has been sent to NVC? We got approved on March 11, hardcopy arrived on March 14 and since then nothing... I thought it didn't take too long just to send case to NVC :(

We never received any notification. In fact, USCIS status still just shows approved. Our case took about 3 weeks to move from USCIS to NVC, and then there was another 38 days to get a case number. First communication from NVC was a welcome email the day after the case number was assigned (snail mail came MUCH later). If you have lots of time to be on hold, give NVC a call after it's been 3-4 weeks from approval to verify that they got your case. Don't bother sending them an email. I did that. By the time they responded, I was halfway through my case processing at NVC. It's very annoying trying to reach NVC by phone, but if you ever suspect you are out of line with processing times for any given step, it's worth it. Keep an eye on the monthly NVC filers thread to keep up on current processing times and problems at NVC.

Here's hoping that your case arrives quickly at NVC so that you can get started with the next leg of the journey!

Little confusion regards the NVC Letter ..Will NVC send the letter to my wife ( who is in abroad ) or me ? Or both ?

Also DS-261 can be done by me ( applicant/Petitioner ) online or my wife has to do it ?

Thanks in advance

My husband received a call from uscis yesterday and they keep saying the same thing, case is being "Processed".

TZ.... You or ur wife have to call NVC in 2 weeks after uscis approved ur case, you gonna ask if they register ur case already and you have to give them urs and ur wife's email and phone number if they ask for. So when they have anything to say u their will do it by mail. Tell them u want to add ur email even if they don't ask u too.

Good luck. It will take to long if u wait for they to send u letters. If they send any fisical letter the petitioner is who gonna receive it.
