Hi all. I had a NOA2 from CSC on Nov 24th and called this morning to news that my case has been received!!! (18 days)

They might have sent a batch from CSC so if you haven't heard maybe give them a call. Hope it's good news for others as well :dancing:

They quoted me 30 days to get a case # which seems pretty on par for what others on VJ are experiencing. GOOD LUCK!

USCIS

10-24-14 : I-130 sent from South Africa to Chicago Lockbox

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions

Very happy for those who get approved so quick but is a lil unfair how many people have to wait months to get approved.

We filed at the beginning of the month through the Chicago office. It took about a week but it was received and approved and is now on its way to the California office.

It's up to you if you want to call the NVC if they received your case. :) They would give you a spiel though saying to wait for 35 days after you got the approval so that you can get your case number. :)

because of your post I once again had confidence on checking if they received our case. :D I just talked to someone from NVC a few minutes ago and said our case was received on the 10th of December! :)

VSC here! :idea: I got quoted though 42 days.. which is.. hmmm. I don't believe it yet. :clock: and she said 42 days after receiving the case.. I don't know how they determine the days...

I just wanted to share my happiness. I called Friday to request expedite of our petition. Today when I logged in to USCIS to check our case history, it showed that they had sent me a reply to my request. I called to inquire what the decision was, and the customer service representative told me they GRANTED the expedite request. Then, tonight I received the e-mail that our petition was approved!!!

Husband called the nvc last monday and told us it will be 45 days before they can give us the manila case number.. But just this morning, we received our manila case number! YAYY!!

Our case was received on Oct. 22 and routed to the Nebraska Service Center. No updates since then, we check the case status online eveyday just to see the same message over and over :|

I noticed that some timelines of people that filed in October already got theirs I-130 approved and moved on to the NVC phase.

Is there anything special on such petitions so they are prioritized or is it just plain luck?

my wife applied for I 130 petition for me in oct 2014 our catagory is 201 inc spouse of usc ...priority date is 10 oct 2014 ....i started tracking at uscis now on dec 19 our case is approved nw plz tell me hw long it will take that i have my visa
