So this person is a quack that wrote the article. ? This person says that data shows it can.

It can in experimental data in monkeys with active symptoms. This case was a human without active symptoms. I was responding to the question you asked, which was about the asymptomatic nurse.

This researcher is suggesting we use extra precautions because there is still much we don't know about the virus and because of the high mortality rate. Nothing I said contradicts that. I am fine with that position, but it's based on hypothesis.

No one knows the answer to that question. All anyone can do is speculate, and that is just too big a temptation, isn't it?

the question is did this nurse while traveling with a low grade fever have the ability to infect other folks on the airplane? .. If so why is not the CDC up to speed on this.

The 0'bola administration has had their travel warnings to Ebola land out for months. But don't let facts get in the way of your "middle-of-the-road" outrage.

Reading is not fundamental to you is it.

Yes, it is. I'm not sure you can say the same about yourself, though. Reading the travel warnings that have been issued months ago tells me that the administration has cautioned people from traveling to the affected areas and limit travel to the absolutely necessary. You claimed that - and I quote - "However our current Admin sees no reason to limit travel" The reality, of course, is quite different. The administration has indeed:

So unless you have an issue with the use of proper vocabulary and meant to say "ban" instead of "limit" (these are different words with different meanings), the administration has demonstrably taken steps to - I quote again - "limit travel". The links above make that abundantly clear - to anyone who cares to read, that is.

A nurse infected with Ebola may have had symptoms sooner than originally believed, authorities say, and an airline is notifying up to 800 passengers linked to flights she took between Dallas and Cleveland.

About 50 people from Texas Health Presbyterian have signed a document legally restricting where they can go and what they can do until they are clear of Ebola, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said Thursday night.

Among other things, they'll be placed on a "Do Not Board list" that would prohibit them from flying commercially like Vinson did.

Tracking a Serial Killer: Could Ebola Mutate to Become More Deadly? Why we need to terminate Ebola 2014 before the virus learns too much about us.

The Ebola virus, seen here through a scanning electron microscope, is mutating as cases increase, raising the odds that the virus could become more transmissible.

Oddly Casualty weapons would fall to the left of Fireworks, but no one calls out the loony anti gun crowd for mass hysteria on that issue .

On the chart I posted, It would be somewhere to the right of drowning. They intentionally left firearms statistics off that chart so people wouldn't hijack Ebola threads to talk about gun safety.

Here's another chart for perspective.

Assault weapon and assault by a firearm are two very different things. The threat of being hurt by an assault weapon is almost nonexistent yet harped on all the time by Anti-Gun crowd as the number one issue.

However expressing concern about a possible epidemic with victims in the many 1000's is paranoia. Only in the world of the loony left

As for hijacking a thread. I responded to a post that ranked Ebola in relation to other dangers, and merely pointed out that assault weapons generate more paranioo but are less of a threat than Ebola. So I guess your post Hijacked the thread, I merely responded to your subject matter
