Travel on Advance Parole

Hey guys I had a quick question.

I have applied an I-130 for my mum and she is currently awaiting adjustment of status. She has an Advance Parole. Unfortunately due to a family member not being in the best of health, she wants to return to her home country to visit them. Is it ok to travel on an Advance parole while awaiting adjustment of status? Also how long is it advised someone be out of the country if you are using the Advance parole to renter (obviously before the ap expires, but is there a certain amount of time someone should not go over?).
