Not that part of your post, this part.

In all seriousness I have neither a hatred or dislike for anyone here. I think some of the folks here are out on the fringe at times, and i shake my head in disbelief at what they say, but I don't hate anyone. I really don't know anyone well enough here to draw that conclusion. Posting on an anonymous discussion board does not equal real life experience.

Then if it doesn't apply to you, ignore it. You have to admit that there are some folks on here who have real.... intense written animosity towards others. You're correct, hate is too strong a word, thanks for pointing that out.

i'm interested in who you're referring to.

voter fraud and illegal immigration. we're all democrats down here..beep beep richie.

meh i prefer my lesbians tight bodied, prescreened for ebola.

see that's just too much work. danno always provided the links.

My wife still shakes her head in disbelief about having to be tested for syphilis and ghonorrhea in order to get her greencard. The test needs to be upgraded to Ebola and other hysterical diseases.

Dude, you quoted me in that post.

Well, to be more precise, I quoted both of you. That's where the back-slapping part came from.

You guys can mock all you want from the privacy and protection of your own homes those members on VJ for whom you have dislike or hatred in your hearts. Have at it if it makes you feel big. A nice round of pats on the backs of all the non-sissies, by all means.

And notice I gave two levels of severity for the animosity often displayed here. Hence my implying: If the shoe fits...

If you can't see it almost daily, then attempting to clarify it for you won't help. Sorry, hun.

Hardly. You are offering hearsay testimony from a couple of dozen persons.

Pretty much the same thing. Unless you are insinuating that I am lying.

i asked who, so yeah, telling me who would help me out and answer my question. but no worries, toots.

Actually, it's pretty obvious who here has a mad on for other people(for that case, entire populations of people). I suspect Dave doesn't want to speak on them since name dropping is considered a violation of the TOS.

being a self absorbed thirty something female of murican descent, i only see vj animosity when it is directed at poor little me.

I was not insinuating you were lying so much I was pointing out that your sampling is really not representative at any level.

Shirley it is. It is representative of the general population where I live on level with the surface of the earth. It may not be a very thorough or all-encompassing survery survey, as far as surveys go, but that wasn't my intent. A general feeling is all it is. Friends, neighbors, co-workers, complete strangers. Informal to be sure, but unanimous.

Apparently the folks that receive the most rage are homosexuals, Japanese people, illegals(read: Hispanics) liberals, folks not of the Christian faith(read: Muslims), and the all ever popular urban dwellers(read: Black people).

That it isn't for sure. There is a reason they say misery loves company.

Consider the social commentary behind TZ's 'The Monsters are due on Maple Street'. Over 50 years old, yet never more current.

But where I live, I have talked to at least 25 people about the ebola situation, and thus far, every single person thinks flights from Africa should have been banned from landing on US soil. Even the liberals. This is folks in the grocery store lines, at a feed mill, at a wood mill, high-ranking officers in the military.... not one person thinks allowing people to come here from Africa is a smart choice.

Rural types eh? Well they're scared or suspicious of anything that happens beyond the county line. No surprise.
