hey???? where are all the december filers??? :unsure:

Hi I'm a December filer. I just found this site 4 days ago and don't know the terms yet. I sent in the 129-F on the 25th of December and received the receipt on the 27th. I'm glad I found this website.

I have recently started checking for updates at least 2 times a day now - before I went days without checking - but as the 70 day mark approaches I'm starting to get more anxious and a lil bit nervous! There doesnt seem to be that many approvals at the moment - but hopefully CSC will suddenly shower us with approvals and the december filers can start seeing NOA2s!!

well i check once a day, if they touched our file.....it's already like a habbit....i also check once a day the processing times....i like when the days go down and down :):blush:

Hey guys,

I just found this website today, so I'm not quite sure how it works yet, but I hope to learn quick. :) I was a bit concerned that I haven't heard anything since Dec 11 when I got my 1st NOA, but looking through all your timelines I see I have nothing to worry, everybody is in the same boat so far. One thing I was not sure I understood was what "touched" meant on some of your timelines, can anyone explain?

Anyway, I wish all of you good luck and let's hope we all get our loved ones here ASAP.

'touched' means, that someone was working on your file. If you have an online account on USCIS to check on your pending application, you'll see a date, when this date changes, then you are touched :)

Hey guys.

I´m devasted. I haven´t got my NOA2, and I just found out a mistake in our application, which means we´ll probably get a RFE and delay even more our case..

I was an aupair and lived in MN and then I had to move to VA to live with other family. We lived pretty close to DC, and Chris came to see me a few times, while I was there. When we talked to other people we always mentioned DC because it was really close from where I lived in VA, so when Chris wrote about relationship he mentioned I moved to DC instead of Virginia..I´m sure we will get a RFE because of that :( , and I wanted to know if we get one, after answering it, if the process will start all over or if they will give us a quick answer...It has been an awful waiting game, a delay is something i was not prepared for..

I sent my I-129F on November 27 but my NOA 1 is Dec. 11. So I guess that makes me a December filer too. Have not been touched since Dec. 13 but I am waiting like you all for an NOA-2 Soon, hopefully. Lots of luck to all the Nov. and Dec. filers. Lets keep our fingers crossed and no RFEs Please!!!

No touches dosn't really mean they're not working on your case. Many VJers got approved without any touch at all. Yes, let's all hope that we won't received RFEs and well get approved as soon as possible! Looking at the database fwaguy made, almost 50% of November filers got their approvals. :dance:

I am another Dec Flyer that just is signing on. We filed on Dec 6th in Los Angeles.

Another December filer here hopeing all goes well for everyone and SOON!!! Reading the USCIS timetable, it looked like it was going to take forever, 6-7 months and that would be forever to me. But reading the responses tonight i am encouraged that it might get done in

5 months. I had heard before i filed the I-129F that it should be done in 4-5 months but the timetables had me discouraged.

Don't worry, IF you'll get a RFE for that, it will just take about 2 weeks longer. I think too, that my fiance and I will get one and i am not really looking forward to it. But oh well 2 weeks more or less are not killing us, i guess!! :(

I am looking forward to my medical next week. I know that i am early, but i am off of work that day anyways, so i thought before I'll waste another day of vacation, I'll just go on that day. I called the doc and they said, that the medical will last for a year....so yeah....i think it's cool then to have it done now :D

Plus it makes the time shorter....a little bit..lol
