Of course I'll keep you posted. How could I let down my VJ friends? :) Paul said the same thing about being here with me being his home. As soon as he got back to Germany things just didn't feel right anymore; there was something missing (me, i guess ;) )

Soon, yes...1 week, wow. I bought a new outfit this weekend to wear when I meet him at the airport, hehe. And he has had his bags packed for a month! No joke, he's been living out of his suitcase for like a month. That really showed me he is ready to come home :P Ah and I'm so ready to have him here.

So are you ready for the weather change when you move to Florida? Paul thought it was hot here in Texas in October and November, so I'm a bit worried how he's going to feel about the summer around July and August! Yikes. I just moved back to the South from Indiana less than a year ago (I grew up here though), but I'm not sure if I am even readjusted to the hot weather yet. The plus side is that it has been warm enough to go swimming for about a month now, and I've been living at our pool all weekend. :D

Uh oh, think I might be rambling again (shocking coming from me, I know ;) )

Is it tomorrow yet? ;)

Karoline

Well at first I thought I'd miss the 4 seasons, but just because I am used to them for 25 years. I took a time to think about it a little more and then I realized that my fav seasons are spring and summer....I HATE fall and winter, especially if there is no snow. So when I was there and John was with me at the community pool he asked me: do you think you could call a place like this home?

I glaced around looked at him and said: HELL YEAH!!!

Where we live it looks more like a place where you'd spend your vacation, so I am not complaining about that!

But I'd go anywhere with my baby, as long as we are together....I really don't care!!!

Lol girl, keep rambling ;) I don't feel so alone then...hehehe

And no :( no tomorrow yet.....but in 2 1/2 more hours....yayyyyy.....29 days by then and counting :D

Awww, well, that's not too bad tho. Does he have most of the documents already? That's cool that they will call with him with the interview date. Good luck, Eli!!!

 No he doesn't have the documents but it won't take long to get them. We did find out that he has to get a Police Report from El Salvador because he lived there over 6 months, we were originally told that if he had lived there a year then he would need it, (he lived there for 7 1/2 months. Anyway, that will take about a week to process but he has to go there to get it...

Oh, I'm glad it won't take too long to get the papers he needs. I hope he has a good trip to El Salvador! It's amazing all the different places you end up having to go and all the different things you have to do to get this process completed. I never would have thought it would be so involved and complicated. I wish you and Mauricio the best!

News flash- Mauricio doesn't have to go to El Salvador after all because he was only lived there technically for 5 months. I am wiring him the money for the medical and other documents and he will get everything he needs done next week and fax the checklist back to the embassy. We should all things considered have an interview date within 3 weeks!!!

On a side note, I think I have developed hives from the stress of the past few days  but they seem to be subsiding now :)

Ooh, that's good he doesn't have to make that trip to El Salvador! One less thing to have to do. You need a stress reliever, girl, getting hives that is no good!! :( If you like hot tea I recommend one called Tension Tamer by Celestial Seasonings. You can get in the tea section of the grocery store. I drink a cup of it whenever I am feeling really stressed and it really seems to calm me down. I think it has mint and chamomile and some other herbs and it smells great, even just breathing in the smell of the tea and taking deep breaths calms me down.

You guys are almost there, and you'll make it!

Keep smiling :D

I can't wait until all of us are reunited with our loves and we will all be talking about the AOS craziness but it will be soooooo much better because we will have our loves by our sides!!!! :D We really should do a VJ reunion once we are all here in the states. It would be fun to meet our VJ friends and get to meet the people who have helped us through this process.

Good luck to all!!!

Thanks everyone for the tips on stress and encouragement :) I am feeling better now. Mauricio went this afternoon and applied for the police report, they told him to pick it up on Thursday. He is going tomorrow to get the medical exams and if he has time to request his birth certificate. He told me tonight that he is going to get everything done as quick as he can so he can see me soon.

Have a good Wednesday everyone!

That's sooooooo great!!! Happy for you guys!! SO it has been 5 days for them to ship it! That's cool!!

I will tell them, that I will go there to pick it up, even though they'd have 7 days for it to sup, but I am too scared, that they run late, so I want to be on the safe side!!!

Yes, I completely understand, I wanted him to go back to the consulate and pick up the visa when it was ready, but he doesn't live close to Frankfurt. And I'm just too much of a worrier. I was paranoid it wouldn't arrive in time for his flight. But when he was at the interview, they asked when he was flying here and they assured him that he would have it before his flight. So, I felt better about them mailing it, and since he got it today I worried for nothing (as usual ;) )

But seriously, why does it feel like each day has 48 hours lately? :P
