I'm going a little bit crazy today. Can't imagine how I'll be tomorrow. 1 day and 11 hours to go until his interview. Every possible scenario is going through my head. I know we have everything we could possibly need, but I'm still so nervous. He is so calm and fine, and is even at a pub right now watching soccer. I'm jealous, I'm the one who needs a drink right now!!! :P

Hehe, really I just want the rest of today and tomorrow to fly by and to be able to write that "woohoo, our visa was approved post!" :D

Okay, I'm going to quit rambling now... :P

Best wishes to everyone!

Karoline

I'll share a drink with ya... Karin was calm too..I think I was way more nervous... =)

Update:

Interview date is may 29th!

No, we are NOT happy about it, because I will miss out almost everything we looked forward to!

Ask again about my happiness at the 28th...better at the 30th...I am sure I will be happy then...just not for now!

Diana

CONGRATULATIONS Diana for having the interview appointment! It may not be as what you expected but be happy that you're almost there. The whole visa journey was a long and tiring road for all of us and we are all can't till we reach the finish the line, well at least for K1 itself since we still have the AOS, etc...

I'm happy for you Diana! See, you even got an earlier interview than I am.:thumbs::thumbs:

Good luck gurl!

Diana

Steal away, girl ;) I love watching the numbers go down on the banner, knowing that each time I look at it I'm getting a little bit closer to having my Paul home :D

I hope you're feeling a bit better about things today. I know it's tough sometimes, even though people who come from other countries may take a LOT longer to get their interviews, when you look at your country's timeline and things take longer than you hoped or expected, it does kind of suck. I know that's why people say not to expect anything and everybody's journey is different, but it's human nature to at least hope that it goes as quickly as possible. I think you should just have a different birthdate for this year. Just for 2007, your birthday will be whatever day you arrive in the US ;)

Paul is on his way to Frankfurt now. I only talked to him for a minute this morning, but he'll call when he gets to Frankfurt. There are butterflies in my stomach for sure! But I think I may be a bit calmer today than yesterday. By this time tomorrow, we will know that he got the approval :D Oh, please let this day go by quickly!!!

Best wishes to all,

Karoline

You guys are the greatest!!! Thanks for all the well wishes! The visa was approved :D :D :D:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Sorry, I didn't write sooner but I was up most of the night and finally fell asleep around 5:00am :P

He called me at 9:30pm his time to let me know that he was in Frankfurt. He stayed at a friend's house there. And then he called me at 3:00am his time, which completely freaked me out. I was like "why are you not sleeping?" He was having trouble sleeping too. :P So then, I was worried he wouldn't wake up and I called him at the time he should wake up (he was already awake, hehe). And finally I got the call I was waiting for at 4:30am, my time (11:30am his time). He didn't tell me at first, and was just like, good morning how are you... teasing me :P And I said forget all that how was the interview. He laughed and said easy, and don't worry, baby, I'm coming home. :D Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

I'll write more about the specifics of the interview in another post.

Thanks again to all of you! You are dear understanding friends who made this process so much easier!!!

:D
