Well they did vote against you Obama care a gazillion times, got behind US bombing of Syria, accused everyone who disagreed with then of being an Obama flunky, pissed of as many minorities as possible, refused to pass a budget, shut down the government, undermined the recovery by refusing to agree to said budget, refused to offer any constructive criticism of Obama, blamed Obama for not fixing the economy, whilst claiming that it makes sense to cut government spending in the middle a deep recession, made sure to block most moves to rein in wall street, voted against moves to do away with citizens united, called liberals all sorts of nasty names, got indignant on fox news when liberals said anything mean about republicans etc, etc.

Back to topic - what should the USA do about ISIS? Should it do more than it is now? Should it do anything?

Let's be honest here - they aren't involved because ISIS are bad people. If that were the case they wouldn't support brutal regimes like Saudi Arabia. The US is involved for the same reason they have intervened in the past - to ensure that the oil reserves in those countries remain in the hands of western oil companies.
