Obama admit what. Lol

You mean like the example the neocons set? Right? Give me a break. Republicans never ever admit wrong doing, but as usual Democrats are held to a higher standard.

I like how it's only taken a few news stories about Isis to turn people from "why are we getting involved here, it's none of our business" to the idea that we need to send troops to war in Syria.

When you take over from a bad poker player there's not much you can do when you've got hardly any chips to play with...

It's the "you break it you bought it rule"

That's why George the 1st didn't take out Sadam in the first place.

Except you didn't 'buy it'. You went in with insufficient troops to secure the country, disbanded the Iraqi army which promptly turn to terrorism and banditry, created a dangerous power vaccuum and left at the earliest opportunity.

Was it right to get out of Iraq? Probably not, but you should never have gotten involved there in the first place and noone signed up to a war without end (especially in the middle of a massive recession). You didn't understand the people, the history or the politics and now we have violent extremists taking root there, exactly the people that the ill thought out 'war on terror' was supposed to target.

Like Vietnam and Korea, you took a bad situation and made it significantly worse - with no benefit to the country in question or for the USA.

There are more countries than the US arming ISIS.

I think that's a pretty good argument that we broke it. 10 years was not leaving at the earliest opportunity

The recession didn't hit until we we're up to our necks in Iraq.

With Korea we took what would have been a total loss and turned it into a stalemate, there was a definate advantage to South Korea

The Vietnam war led to the Khmer rouge genocide in Cambodia. Its very arguable whether the US has made a positive contribution to world peace in the post war years.

Hey they don't give the Nobel Peace Prize to the President of your country just for getting elected President!

It's called a current standard. If you have to go back six years to place blame, that's pretty desperate.

Two beheadings, and the tide changed opposite directions.

In the meantime, Saudi Arabia can behead whoever they want for various and sundry - the wrong faith, being gay, opposing the dictatorship - and not a peep out of our government and media stenographers.

The Iraqi government ran death squads the whole time we were occupying the country. It was reported too, but nobody cared. Because they were our puppet government.

Just get out of the middle east. Get out of everywhere but our own country. Korea. NATO. Get rid of it all.

Neo CONS were and continue to claim that the Iraq invasion was a good idea. Republicans have yet to admit that their calling for air strikes on Syria would have helped ISIS into power. In fact I have yet to see you admit it was a terrible idea either. Put up or shut up.

I've brought up this issue a few times as well. At the time, the WH sold us on the notion that invading Iraq was the best thing to do and We The People bought it line, hook and sinker. Later many of us had the guts to admit they made a mistake and that we were wrong in our assessments and course of action. Many military leaders caught flack from the motley crew for speaking against the regime. The same is true of Syria. Only a few months ago the GOP was calling for armed intervention against Assad and the arming of his enemies, much of whom now have turned out to be ISIS militants. Had we acted with the same lack of intel we did in Iraq, the same people would be here, in their exacerbated hyperbolic outrage indicting the POTUS for having armed ISIS as part of some cockamamie tin foil conspiracy they heard on Fox News, which they insist on regurgitating as fact.

It is surprising they haven't yet asked for Obama's head for catching and killing Bin Laden...
