Moemac59 - I can feel you I had faced same situation when I called VSC customer service to inquiry my NOA receipt. Customer service guy was rude and after talking to few mins he hung up on me. I feel calling to VSC customer service is no use, I would rather make a Info pass and talk to IO.

Thanks Neil,

Sometimes it helps to be a beotch to these people on the phone especially when they just try and talk over you. I finally got thru after an hours and a half wait on the phone. The IO was super nice and answered all of my questions and laughed when I told him that the CR's always try to run us off the phone. I told him that those people haven't got a clue. He was extremely patient so I was thankful for that. Told me no bio appointment booked yet :(

Hi SandM, yes, it is within the usual timeframe. If you don't get the biometrics appointment letter within 30 days from your NOA1 receipt date, call USCIS and tell them about it. They then should send

YAY biometrics letter finally showed up and my mailman knocked on the door..he didn't want to leave it in my mailbox because it is pouring rain outside and he didn't want it to get wet.

I just mailed our I-751 package today and will be delivered to VSC tomorrow by 3pm. Will keep update if receipt is received. Hope all of us good luck!

- 7/23/2008 came to US with F-1 visa
- 9/11/2012 I-485, I-130 and I-765 package sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox
- 9/12/2012 package delivered and signed by XXX
- 9/14/2012 received email with receipt numbers
- 9/17/2012 check cashed
- 9/30/2012 received hard copy of biometrics appointment on 10/19/2012, notice dated on 9/21/2012
- 10/12/2012 successfully walk-in one week earlier without asking reason at New York Long Island City office
- 11/5/2012 started to work in a new firm
- 11/11/2012 EAD approved!!! AWESOME!
- 11/19/2012 EAD card delivered, one day ahead of my birthday!
- 1/11/2013 received txt and email about interview time
- 2/14/2013 interview - Got APPROVED on the spot!!
- 2/27/2013 USCIS online update - 485 decision!! we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status :) Later, my 130 update too!!!
- 3/4/2013 Card Production!!

We have not received our bio letter yet. I tried using the NOA receipt number to look up our case but that number has a validation error . It says that "your case can not be found at this time in my case status". Looking at the other cases from csc makes me worry that the letter got lost in the mail and that we might miss our bio appointment.

08/09/2008 - Met on Yahoo through a mutual friend

03/01/2010 - 1st visit (fiance came to US)

05/11/2010 - 2nd visit (fiance came to US, spent his birthday with me)

10/01/2010 - 3rd visit (fiance came to US)

02/11/2011 - 4th visit (fiance came to US, proposed to me on Valentine's day)

04/06/2011 - I-129F Sent

04/14/2011 - packet rejected and sent back -expired I-129 form

04/15/2011 - I-129F Sent out again with correct form

04/20/2011 - NOA1 (hardcopy recieved)

06/21/2011 - 5th visit (fiance came to US)

07/11/2011 - NOA2 (YAY !!!)

08/05/2011 - NVC Case #

08/16/2011 - Medical

11/04/2011 - Interview - Approved 221g (ACPO Police Certs needed)

No NOA letter yet.. Guessing that I'm not getting it. :/ Wondering if they remail them or do something else when this happens, but I can't contact them about it until Dec 12th.

At least I got the bio though - you must be fretting a lot over that appointment, my uk love. :( Hope you hear something soon. Apparently the first NOA receipt number isn't meant to show online, but the receipt number with the appointment letter does.

7/30/12: I-130 sent to Chicago lockbox

8/01/12: NOA1

8/13/12: NOA2! (USC living abroad)

NVC

8/28/12: Case # issued

8/31/12: DS-3032 email sent

9/11/12: DS-3032 email rejected, re-sent

9/13/12: AOS invoice received, paid

9/19/12: AOS package sent

9/21/12: AOS package delivered

9/21/12: DS-3032 email accepted

9/24/12: IV Invoice received, paid

9/25/12: IV Package sent from Thailand

9/27/12: IV package delivered

9/28/12: RFE by phone for employment letter

You need to use the case# that comes with your ASC biometric appointment not your NOA!

Yep, the date printed on the letter. It actually arrived several days after that.
