Can somebody help me plz i applied for 1-751 on November 2014 i've been waiting for a respond for 13 months now whenever i call they just say i should wait my extention is expired! What is exactly going on why does this takes so long ? By the way i sent the filed to verment they told me they re too slow but this is way too much! Plz help thank u!

Dalia,

I would say make an infopass immediately and go into the office to find out what is going on as this seems to be out of the normal processing time. They should also be able to stamp your passport at the office.I did that and the IO at the office informed me when I went in for my infopass appointment that my application had been approved. Sure enough, I got the approval letter 2 days later. You may also want to look at filing for citizenship while this application is pending. This may depend on what date you became a LPR. If you came in on a spousal or K1 visa, you can always apply for citizenship based on the 3yr spousal rule.

Applying for citizenship if eligible will kick the I-751 application into gear,

Good Luck and keep us posted.

Moe

Hi

moemac

I filed my application in march 2015 i-751 for divorce waiver. I unable to get info pass appointment in Atlanta, Ga.

For infopass appointment: I am choosing two options

1. you need service on case that you already filed

2. Case processing appointment

At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.

I am trying to get appointment from last one week.

I change my address for i-751 since I have Florida 10 yrs driving license. i didn't change my driving license on new address while i am in new state.

I'd like to report that we were approved. There was no interview following our RFE notification and the package we sent in response. Simply a direct notification in the mail. I checked the case status online and it shows "New Card Is Being Produced" as of Feb. 2. I'm updating my signature accordingly.

Can you apply for citizenship? This would force them to review your ROC.

Hello!

You need to relax. Don't stress yourself. I am filer from august 2014. And I am still in process. I was exactly the same calling, going for info passes and bla bla.

I assume you have been transferred for interview. And it takes times to scheduled on.

or

You will get everything approved by mail in a while. Like my friend. He was waiting almost 2 years with no RFE no INTERVIEW. Just got in the mail - case approved.

You can go and ask. But just main question why so much stress? If you have happy life with your spouse just live it. Green card will come. Eventually.

Good lick.

Hey Everyone i have a question.

So my attorney reschedulled my i751 interview twice and my 3rd time will be on feb 22nd 2016.

After paying him 700 for his day to fly to Pittsburgh from philly plus i pad over 600 dollar plane ticket that he never came in the first time... he decided to let us know that he will be with us over the phone 5 days before the interview... :((

Can this be possible over the phone ?? While we are in the interview??
