Can't be helped--just another step in the process, I suppose! We'll be filing for my naturalization as soon as possible, so that's something else to look forward to.

I've been curious about the eligibility to become US Citizen. Generally we all are in the REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS forum because we became Permanent residents about the same time "JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2013" and got our removal of conditions approval "May,june, july.. etc 2015"

so in other words if my anniversary date for Permanent Resident is January 31, 2013 (2016 will make 3 years) then I can apply for citizenship in November of 2015 (90 days before the anniversary)

Is this correct?

Is anyone in this forum thinking about applying for US Citizenship in November 2015?

Yes I am working on it right now but it may be more like December by the time I get my tax transcripts back from the IRS

That is insane!

We don't have children either. We are not there yet, I just started college again and we just bought a house.

WOW, I cannot believe they could be asking for something so delicate, not all couples want to have children, we will have some when we can afford it:)

Good luck, I hope you hear something back, after all they can only keep your application on hold for this long. I am sure you will hear something good soon.

I am just thinking the IO who told you that has no idea what she was talking about

Yes i know about the 90 day period, but I wasn't sure if I'm eligible. Do we have to prepare a package similar to the ROC with evidence for good faith marriage? there are a few questions in the air that i need to clarify before putting together my N-400 application

May I ask what are you sending?

You sent yours out already? I'm jealous...waiting for tax transcripts from the IRS and who knows how long that is going to take. I am hoping to have everything complete by mid-November

I was going to send it today, but got sick and I am just starting to work on it now. I will put in the first statement of our bank account and then one from every three months. I will do two credit cards and medical insurances and taxes, but my taxes will be just whatever I can print out, I wasn't able to do the transcripts and it was OK for the I-751, so I don't think it will be a problem now. I am not doing any pictures, just really brief and hoping this is just fine:)
