Yes, I was and trust me the suspension was killing me LOL.

My husband said I was super worried the whole time and now he keeps complaining that before I was only talking about the GC and now all I do is worry about school LOL. It is happen hopefully for you soon Sammyboy

So either way with or without the GC I have unhappy husband LOL

P.S. It is not my fault I am in nursing school:)

@UAOO So, sorry about the RFE, but make sure you bring the paperwork you sent them and some new stuff and good luck:)

You know.. I was on an H1b visa when we got married and my green card had been in process for a couple of years. My wife immediately made me apply for the fmaily based green card saying it will be quicker than the 8 yr wait i had, when we got married. Now she is the one complaining that i always keep thinking of the green card. Lol

Well, she was right, it will be shorter than 8 years, but still long LOL

I guess life it tough in general, we bough a house this year, we moved in two weeks ago and all of our stuff are just sitting in the middle of the living room, I have no time to organize them and he is instructed not to touch them, since I am afraid what will happen with everythingLOL

But i hate how these uscis folks treat us as if we are some criminals. They are right in their own way.

But i have never been so anxious before.

I mean at least look at a person's history how long he has been in the country before you make him go theough this torture.

Just found out that my case is in California. USCIS supposed to send it to 'OKC' instead they sent it to 'OKL'. WTH?

I search it online, OKC i.e OKLAHOMA CITY office rather then they send it to OKLAHOMA LOCATION (i-751) might be.

I just wanted to contribute that i noticed that VSC did not look at my case until 60 days after my evidence was requested.

I am not sure if they wait on the 60 day window for you to send your evidence and then they look at it but, it sort of look like it follow that course for my case.

How can you tell when they looked at the evidence after the RFE?

Hello everyone,

So I filed my husband I-751 on November 2014. We received the appointment for the biometrics.

Then we received another letter asking for more proof about our marriage. I sent them right away,

through certified letter and the tracking numbers shows that it was delivered. Have been already 60 days

and I haven't heard from them. I haven't received any letter to confirm that they got the documents that I sent.

So I called the customer service on Vermont Service Center and they said they can't access to my files, so they don't know if

the documents were received. They told me to wait another 15 days because there has been some delays.

So this happen to someone in here? Is it normal that I haven't received a confirmation letter saying they have the documents that I sent?

Should I be worry about this? In November is going to be a year since my husband started the process and haven't received his resident card,

is this normal?

Any advice would be great ! Thanks .

Unfortunately, your best option in my opinion would be to schedule an infopass appointment and when talking to the IO make sure they figure out if VSC has your additional evidence on file or not.

The same applies for Harmonia user.

According to VSC timeline they are only 6 months behind, not 11 months, so definitely request to have a service request submitted during the infopass. Do not take NO or wait another 30 days for an answer.

I will not be waiting for another 15 days, it has been 11 months since the last time it was November, which means that they are 5 months behind their 6 months posted on the website, so no wonder people are getting inpatient. Also make sure you file for N400 when you are eligible for. This is supposed to make them find your I-751 file and process it.

Hi all,

Many apologies about the silence on my end--the past couple of months have been hectic what with returning to the US after my summer fellowship abroad, a move to begin a new fellowship, etc. Anyway, we received an RFE. The deadline to respond is Oct. 29. I will be making a separate thread to solicit guidance, so please feel free to help! We'd be glad for it!

I was out of the country when the notice was sent, but the date of issue is Aug. 3 with a response deadline of Oct. 29. Planning on sending off everything this weekend or early next.
