GC finally arrived today in the mail. I'm not at home but my awesome mailman (Dave) has left it at the post office for me to pick up after I instructed him to do this about a month ago. My husband called me and told me that the notification was in the mailbox.

My mailman is amazing. He is getting some kind of baked goods in the next couple of days.

Yous post motivated me to go check our mailbox, but of course, our mailman is late again, he usually skips a day during the week of delivering the mail, I am hoping it is not today LOL

Hopefully around 6pm he will have my GC in the mail:)

Hi Everyone,

This is what shows when i check my case status after i submitted a service request on August 17th.

Should i give them a call and follow up on them since we know they are super slow???

Does anyone have any advise for this situation?

I think I might file in December if I survive through the first year of nursing school, if not I will file Oct 29th the first day that I am eligible to LOL

Seeing how long it took for the I-751 I won't be expecting anything else for N400. My friend in Arkansas filed for N400 last year in Oct and she is still waiting, even after two service requests and the congressman's office told her that since she has a 10 GC they cannot reach out, how convinient

When I got my service request submitted the lady said you should hear something within 5 business days, which means that let's say 7-8 days, so if your original date 08/23 you should hear something by 09/08/15 at the latest, having in mind Labor Day is coming there might not be too much activity going on.

Guess calling USCIS gave them the little bit of prodding that was required.

Just an FYI but I never received a tracking number. My GC came in the mail in a USPS envelope. You may not get a tracking number.
