I just got the email saying that my card was mailed out as of today.

These guys cant perform their job duties on weekdays, yet they are shiiping out cards on saturdays and updating statuses. Dayummmmmmm!!

Also I want you to notice at the time they sent me the e-mail:

At 4:37 AM, REALLY???? Either way, so then because I wanted to forward it to my husband and let him know about the good news, I ended up replying to USCIS LOL. The most awkward thing is that I asked my husband a question in the e-mail that I sent to USCIS(and I know I sent it to USCIS, because I checked my SENT e-mails folder) and 2 hours later my husband responded to the question LOL, he never received my e-mail since I am so dumb and sent it to the wrong place LOL, so somehow my hubby read my mind that I will probably ask about a bill, which he usually pays and decided to write me about it super weird LOL. This is what happens when he works on Sat and I am obviously too sleepy in the morning to do anything right LOL.

P.S. I hope you guys were able to follow my little story about telepathy between me and my husband LOL

Guys i called the 1800 number again to check on my status and they told me card in production then i asked when was the approval date? .. The immigration officer though i was asking a wierd question??

His reply again was why wouldnt you get approved ? You got a year extension until the card is producted and sent..

I feel that his answer is vague.. Did anyone call the 1800 and got the same answer?

They probably don't have the approval date on their screen as well, if it is a Tier 1 they see just as much as you see on your side, so they just want to tell you, you are approved and they don't care what your approval date is, this is how I see it:)

Hopefully thats true plamjordan because i spoke with tier 2 officer and he is not giving me dates and no approval letter and still case recieved online.. So based on the 2nd tier officer card in production and i called twice to make sure what they are saying is correct but still no dates.

Did you have your Biometrics done? Did you receive your 1 year letter of extension? Have you called USCIS to see what the status is of your case? If not, call them and ask to be transferred to a Tier 2 officer. The person who answers the phone will not be able to give you any specifics about your case or any information other than if it's processing and that they have received it.

Once you update us with this information then we can offer more assistance or input if possible.

Do you guys really think these people are working on weekends and at 4am!!! I would not give them that much credit...have you not heard of automatic responses set up!

I would not bother with the call. I would get a infopass appointment and inquire personally. They seem more helpful when one talks in person.

I got my approval letter yesterday, approval date on there shows 8/18/15...yet when I called on that day it didnt show as approved in their system.. regardless, i'm thankful we just have the N400 to do and we are done with immigration
