Has anybody actually received their card? My status says it was mailed out July 9, and I received my letter in the mail a week after, but it's been over a month and my GC still isn't anywhere to be found in my mailbox!

I-751 sent on 11/07/14 NOA1 on 11/14/14 Biometrics date 12/16/14 i have to numbers for application (I751 and CR189) i can't track the i751 one, just the cr189 is it normal? Thanks

Hi SandM, yes, it is within the usual timeframe. If you don't get the biometrics appointment letter within 30 days from your NOA1 receipt date, call USCIS and tell them about it. They then should send

I just spoke with an immigration officer and she didn't say much. she said my case received nov 21 and they are now at nov 3rd. so its in the normal processing time.... I even told her December people started getting approved and her typical reply its case by case bases. also she mentioned to wait 30 more days if I didn't hear anything they will reach out to the service center for me...

what do you think? any questions I missed?

You are most welcome.

I say don't wait and contact your senator. Not sure if they can do anything but it seems to give USCIS a bit of a nudge if the senator's office sends in a request for information on a case status.

You may want to make an infopass at the service center in the next couple of weeks if nothing happens. It can't hurt.

Keep us posted if you go this route. I say don't wait for them to contact the service center...total bs USCIS speak.

Wow, I have been missing for a few days and there has been so many posts:)

I had a wonderful vacation and wanted to say when we got back home there was a USCIS letter in the mail and the approval letter was also sent from my local office, which to me means VSC has decided instead of transferring all the cases to CSC to just send them out accordingly to the local offices. This is good if your local office processes the paperwork fast and really bad if your local office is already behind and they get your paperwork.

Hopefully, the rest of the "still waiting people" get approved soon.

Has all of you approved people got the letter from VSC or local office, especially the ones approved in the last two weeks? :)

So it looks like the last few of us Nov. filers are finally up next! Or soon, at any rate. I'm finishing up a work trip/vacation in Paris and am hoping to hear something by the end of August.

Quick question: those of you who have contacted your senators, how did you go about it? I don't know if there is a thread/guide on VisaJourney--if there is, please point me the right way. But if there isn't, I'd love to know more about this because I'd like to contact them if I don't see any resolution by the end of Aug.

02/04/2016, Received I-797 Notice of Action confirming removal of conditional permanent residence status. Date of decision was 01/28/2016.

I called USCIS to see where my card is. The agent blew tried to blow me off but I basically was a super bi+%$ and told him he knew nothing and to transfer me to the IO as he was only able to see what I could see.

I couldn't wait to speak to an agent as the wait was too long and I am at work. I will try again tomorrow to see when the card was mailed out.

Thanks! And it's a bit tricky. I'm ordinarily a resident of CT as is my wife, but we will be in NY for the academic year 2015–2016 as I'll be doing a fellowship there. So...I *think* I should still contact my CT senator? Since I won't be in NY until September...

Has anybody actually received their card? My status says it was mailed out July 9, and I received my letter in the mail a week after, but it's been over a month and my GC still isn't anywhere to be found in my mailbox!

It was in our mailbox today. Card in hand.

I haven't, but I only got approved last week, also I haven't received any other updates from USCIS since the approval, maybe next week, they might ship mine out:)
