i have been waiting for 9 months and its still says case approved and when i call the 1800 number they just read whatever is online ,,, any suggestions ? should i ask for a supervisor or this will irritate the immigration lol

please guys let me know...thanks and congrats for all who got approved!

I just checked my status online and this was there:

On August 5, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC*********** and will mail it to the address you gave us.

Yippee hooray.

everytime I call the 1800 they read the same whats online..

Thanks I am very happy that this is finally completed.

You could reach out to your senator. I did and not sure if it gave my application the push but 2 weeks after I sent him all of the paperwork authorization to inquire about my case, my case was approved.

I would also call USCIS and ask to speak to a Tier 2 person (This is an Immigration Officer or also known as an IO). The customer service reps that they have do not have the same access to your file that the IO will so they are pretty much useless.

Be pushy if you call. Sometimes they try to blow you off.

If nothing else works then make an infopass appointment.

I have not yet received my card and I was approved on July 28th.

I have also received an email from USCIS asking for rating of performance! Do they really have the decency to ask for how did they do??? specially considering that after 12 days still no card???

they are getting ridiculous...

I just did that lol! I got the same survey as well.

I have a feeling that your GC approval is right around the corner.

i hope you are right Moe, for some odd reason, i also have a tingling feeling that my case will get adjudicted upon quite soon. What the result would be, i do not know. Hopefully all clear in one go and no RFE etc.

I just spoke with an immigration officer and she didn't say much. she said my case received nov 21 and they are now at nov 3rd. so its in the normal processing time.... I even told her December people started getting approved and her typical reply its case by case bases. also she mentioned to wait 30 more days if I didn't hear anything they will reach out to the service center for me...

what do you think? any questions I missed?

This is good if your local office processes the paperwork fast and really bad if your local office is already behind and they get your paperwork.

Hopefully, the rest of the "still waiting people" get approved soon.

Well I filled in December 2014 and I was approved Aug 4 when I check my status online! my approval letter came in the mail couple of days ago and YES that letter came from my local office but if you see the FROM part of the evelope outside you will see that it was mailed from the Service Center mine was Vermont.. But anyways we are approved that's what really matter now lol we can finally breath.. Good luck everyone waiting.

As the previous poster said, VSC is processing cases filed November 03, 2014. Since you filed a week later, you should hear from USCIS some time soon. Good luck! In the meantime, one of us can add your timeline in the VSC list if you'd like!
