I-751 November 2014 Filers

Well I just got back and apparently I was approved on July 28th but the card has not been sent out yet. We shall see. I am not getting excited until I have notification that the card is being mailed out or until I actually receive it.

I started to cry when the agent told me that I had been approved and thanked her profusely as well as apologizing for blubbering like a baby. She just smiled, handed me a tissue and told me that it was nice to give someone some good news for a change. It must have been the release of all of this stress that has been building for the last couple of months. We then discussed applying for N400 and she was telling me not to send it in earlier then I am supposed to. She informed me that the agent next to her sent his wife's citizenship application 3 days early prior to her 3 yr residency date and it was sent back to him, USCIS informed him that it was too earlier.

Plam - you have got to be next and fingers crossed that you get good news today or this week.

I will keep everyone posted when I get my notification.

Jusr received the approval letter, dated 07/22, never got that update.

Got only the update on 07/28 that card is in production.

They are not updating the status right.

So far no update about they mailing the card yet.

Found that e-mail from USCIS was sitting in the Junk email folder received on Friday (7/31/15) stating Card being ordered. No text mssg received on a cell phone. Today the online status shows the same status (Nothing was on the online till yesterday) . Nothing in the mail yet.

Finally long & stressful time over for us

How long will it take now to get the Permanent Resident card in the mail? Should we expect another update OR e-mail/mail OR just the Card in the mail?

When I went into USCIS yesterday for my infopass appointment, the agent said that the envelope that it comes in looks like junk mail. She told me that they send it like this as they don't want people to steal it out of the mailboxes. I asked if it would come priority post like our AOS gc's and she said no.

I am really happy for all of the apprved people. I guess our paperwork will be coming some time in November lol. I have been checking mail, e-mail, anything junk, online status and still nothing ohhh so frustrating especially the fact that there is people approved from Dec who filed a month and a half after us ughhhh.

I got my approval on July 17th and still no card! I did get an email though on August 1st saying my card had been mailed. Online status also changed to "card mailed". Hopefully it will come by the end of the week!

On August 4, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC*****, and will mail it to the address you gave us Online status has changed also, no text message though, no letter yet. So relieved I don't have to check my status everyday anymore.

Congratulation on your approval. I have one question. How did you receive an email? Did you register on USCIS website or when you applied for I-751 application you mention your email address in your application?

When I registered online at USCIS web page for I-751 using RECEIPT NUMBER it has options next to you case for E-MAIL Alert and Mobile Alert. I selected "Y" for both options.

I did got an e-mail but never received a Text message on my mobile. The online status changed yesterday to reflect what statd in the e-mail. However e-nmail stated Card order and onine shows "New Card is being produced".

As I read other people comments hoepfully when they mail out the New Card it will show online Card Mailed..
