I-751 November 2014 Filers

So my 1 year extension is going to expire on November this year.. If i didnt hear from immigration VSC about my I-751 should i go stamp my passport or apply for citizenship? If so when should i apply for citizenship?

Get a stamp and apply whenever you are eligible for N400, don't wait on them to process the I-751. If you are eligible in Nov for citizenship APPLY:)

Good luck, hopefully this week we hear something but I doubt it, my bet is on them starting to process Dec this month and not even touching Nov filers until mid Sept, hopefully that is not the case, but it seems like it to me.

Oh really, I guess I must have missed the approval oh WOW.

I don't know if I am happy or no since I haven't received anything:(, that most likely means I am right and that was it with Nov filers until mid Sept, ughhh that just sucks for me I guess:(

I hope so, but with VSC I don't have any expectations before mid to late Sept at this point. They have disappointed me on so many levels. I must say that based on the service request I had submitted they will most likely intentionally drag the process for me. Oh well I will just pretend to be Winnie-the-Pooh and simply say: “Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.” For VSC some day is around 11 months LOL

We shall see. I am getting ready right now to go to USCIS for my infopass appt and will update as soon as I get back. I will not leave until I get to a supervisor if the person I speak with is not helpful.

Well I just got back and apparently I was approved on July 28th but the card has not been sent out yet. We shall see. I am not getting excited until I have notification that the card is being mailed out or until I actually receive it.

I started to cry when the agent told me that I had been approved and thanked her profusely as well as apologizing for blubbering like a baby. She just smiled, handed me a tissue and told me that it was nice to give someone some good news for a change. It must have been the release of all of this stress that has been building for the last couple of months. We then discussed applying for N400 and she was telling me not to send it in earlier then I am supposed to. She informed me that the agent next to her sent his wife's citizenship application 3 days early prior to her 3 yr residency date and it was sent back to him, USCIS informed him that it was too earlier.

Plam - you have got to be next and fingers crossed that you get good news today or this week.

I will keep everyone posted when I get my notification.

Thanks Plam. I actually just got my approval letter in the mail so I guess it is true. The date of decision was 07/30/2015. Not sure if the senator offices did anything. They still haven't updated my status on the website.

Plam - contact your senator and see if they can push it. This is a bittersweet day for me as I want both you and Sammyboy to get your approvals this week.

Then I can truly be happy.
