I-751 November 2014 Filers

So I contacted Schumer's office again today. Again they told me that they could not find me in their system so I finally got an email address and resent everything for the 3rd time. This is as frustrating as USCIS.

If they do nothing then I am contacting WGRZ News Buffalo. They do focus pieces on Holding People in Power accountable. They love getting in Schumer's face and want answers and will report on it.

So sorry they seem to be doing nothing as well. I will wait for the response of the service request and then go ahead and make my husband contact our congressman. He is very selective when it comes to words, so the e-mail will be short but very meaningful LOL

P.S. Getting the media involved will seem to be the only thing that might help.

Well I had an unexpected day today. I was reading this thread today and figured hey maybe I'll try get an infopass appt so I can try get some more info on what is going on at VSC (the USCIS office is relatively close to home). I am travelling at the end of the week for a couple of months and also wanted to get a stamp in my passport just to cover all my bases. Randomly enough I checked and they had an appointment slot available for today at 2:30 p.m (1.5 hours ago). So off I went, the lady was nice and I was telling her I was traveling and I wanted a stamp, and she said i don't need it cause i have the extension letter. But I insisted and she gave in. Then as she was getting ready to do that, she was looking at the screen and she said "Wait a minute, it's been approved". I was like huh???? She said "Yeah it was approved on Friday (the 17th). I couldn't believe it. She stamped my passport anyway, cause i probably won't receive the new greencard by this Saturday when I leave.

I did ask her why it was taking so long and if she could tell me where VSC was up to in their processing timeline. She didn't really have an answer, just said "it's different for everyone" and "you must've submitted a lot of evidence cause you didn't get an interview" (I submitted pretty much the same as everyone else). But I guess in Miami interviews are the norm.

So anyway, I AM APPROVED (apparently), I don't know if I should believe it til I get the notification as my case status online still says "Received". There's obviously a few days delay between approval and when they notify you!

I have no good news, I am thinking at this point they will be able to process our paperwork around the 12th month. Seriously, VSC needs to start Dec next months, so I am thinking my approval should come in late Sept to mid Oct, at this point no hope left in me. I am serious when I say you are probably going to see your GC before me, which will be ridicule, but quite possible looking at the random way VSC just selects cases and decides to process them.

Me neither . Schumer's office did call back thought to say that they are on it...finally! Will keep you posted if I hear anything.

I just got the letter from USCIS and it says my request has been approved. The decision date was July 21, 2015. However, my online status hasn't changed yet. I guess they are too busy to update the online information but just send out all the letters now.
