They just update their timeline online and I just almost died.... they say they are processing the I-751 from October 19, 2014....smh.... that's bulls****.... they were on October 29 before this update

That is beyond ridicule.

So as I said earlier of having no hope it turns out I was right, basically there is absolutely no way we could be processed in the next 2 months. So in March they were processing September cases and four months later they only managed to process half a month and reach all the way to mid October, good job VSC. I, at least hope these people don't make any more money than minimum wage, because sincerely they don't deserve a penny more:)

Rant over...for now.

P.S. Next month VSC processing time will update to October 13th. They apparently progress backwards LOL

Now I tend to agree with you, there is no way Jan filers are seeing approvals this year, with this rate Nov filers might not see anything this year LOL. I wonder if, maybe now, they will start transferring cases, let's say they purposely updated Oct, 19th and they will transfer all Nov and Dec to CSC. That would help them and significantly help us.

Transferring cases is the only way to ever try and get back to the 6 month timeline.

I mean retrogression of priority dates on H1 B visas is one thing, but cmon on family based processing? really?

I am still going to apply citizenship in November (4.5 months ) even if I don't get my GC by then. I plan on using an attorney to do that. She is well connected at the Buffalo Field office so I am hoping that she will be able to push them for a fast turnaround time of my case.

Lawyer will be a good move on your side having in mind N400 are processed at local offices. They can actually pull strings in case. I am applying for citizenship in Dec when I am done with the school semester and have time to gather together the paperwork, so hopefully by then we actually hear something.

My husband's cousin is also a ICE agent at a higher level who works out of that office so hoping that he can do the same. He used to live next door to us and was the one who urged us to by our house before it went on the market. He knows me very well so hoping that he will also be able to push the field director at the office to expedite my case when it comes up.

My infopass appt is on Monday, will let you know how that goes, but have absolutely no expectations for a positive outcome. I hope they are at least helpful enough to stamp my passport and quiet enough so I don't start ranting on them in person LOL

Start calling your senator too! I am following up on Monday with mine. If that does nothing then I am calling Cuomo's office until someone can do something.
