What if... we all actually did that? Send them 10 dozen donuts and alot of coffee with a nice note saying that hurry up ? LOL

You can try but i am thinking that its a bad investment of your money. Nothing would come out of it. Anyways...nearest Dunkin Donuts is about .6 miles...from their vermont office. :-)

In all honesty, and in their defense...there are 800 employees there..and they process all types of applications. We are not the only ones. And...these are low priority cases for them.

Just a quick but somewhat serious question. The letter we all received extends our status by "a period of one year." Given the delays at VSC that have been noted previously in this thread, what should we do if we're closing in on one year with no response from USCIS? I don't know if this has previously been an issue (I'm sure it must have at some point in the past), but if anyone knows of helpful topics/discussions, feel free to link me.

Moemac is back. :-).

I dont think we will hear anything till mid june. That too appears to be an optimistic forecast. :-)

I cannot agree more with you, they will make all of us Nov filers wait for 7+ months before they start on anything and after that they will take 3 more months to clear out all Nov, they just work THAT fast:)

I hope everybody has a good weekend:)

After 6 months from CSC receiving our application we are good to go:

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On June 1, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

Can someone update the November filing timeline, as I have never figured it out.

A few notes:

We had a late BioMetrics appointment, much later than our cohort, and needed to do a walk in to complete before travel. This may be why it took six-months at CSC when generally they are quicker (sorry VSC).

Also, we got pulled for secondary inspection at SFO because of our extended absences (I am retired and we spend months at a time at my wife's home in Thailand - in this case for 3-months). It was a strange pull and interview - they wanted to know why we had not applied for an i131, when none of our absences even approached six-months. I carefully monitor our residence for citizenship application and know that we are within the letter of the law, but both the agent in the booth and the agent at the desk in secondary seemed to have problems with our residence pattern. We were told that the green card is not to be used as a permanent visa - my reply was that we are living the life as a retired couple and we were within the physical presence and residence guidelines. Not a pleasant experience - hopefully the automated entry won't pick up on this secondary inspection and flag us.
