Hello everyone,

So far I have Completed, signed, and dated I-864 of joint sponsor

Tax return transcripts ordered from IRS( the last 3 years) of joint sponsor

copy of US passport of joint sponsor

Last six months of Pay stubs of joint sponsor

Are those enough? Or should I also include employment letter and W-2 of joint sponsor?

And for Pay stubs, I read online said it require is on signed, business letterhead. For my joint sponsor's pab stubs, I did found business letterhead, but it's not signed, is that ok?

Thanks guys

Hi,

You are fine. It's either the most recent paystubs or an employment letter, not both. Just make sure the paystubs include the most recent week when you send them in.

Also the W2 isn't necessary because this is in the tax transcript, unless the joint sponsor files with a spouse and has to prove their share of the income. Otherwise the docs you have are fine.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Thanks for the quick replay :dancing:

One more question, you said I should include the most recent week when I send them in, but is it ok to off by 2 weeks? My joint sponsor get paystubs every two weeks, so if I get those paystubs now, but send my AOS package 2 weeks later, which will make me miss the most recent week, is that ok?

Thanks

Oh, that is perfectly fine. If he gets paid every two weeks the most recent one would be for the most recent 2 week period that just passed.

This does not constitute legal advice.
