CEAC status updates BEFORE interview - London

Mine was a request that my interview date fitted around a business trip in early November.

They told me they couldn't issue a date before receiving my medical exam results but that they'd made a note of my travel dates and that they'd ensure my interview fitted around these dates. Far more pleasant and accommodating than I expected!

They told me similarly, the same thing.

They couldn't issue an interview date/time until they received the medical and form of readiness. But both of those things were done over a week ago.

I replied to their email stating the specific dates and they replied with "Following receipt of the required medical and Notification of Applicant Readiness, applicants can expect to receive notification of a date and time for their interview in approximately 6 weeks."

So, I thought, OK, well what if the submit button broke when I pushed it. (Being the condescending one that I am..) So I submitted another one 15/10. LOL

We'll see what happens...

Was informed of my interview today! No letter yet (packet 4), but the senator in the US we were in touch with informed us.

Nov 6th at 8am

Hopefully all of our letters are in the post right now!

YAY! That's so exciting!!!

Our medical was same day as yours and the rest of our timeline is pretty similar.

Fingers crossed we get our letter soon!

I hope you hear soon! You never know, your interview might be sooner! At least we can all get a rough idea with similar timelines. :-)

Congrats! 6th is not far! There is postal delivery on Saturday, so there is hope for me yet. Fingers crossed!

The postman's been and gone again, and still there is no post. Nothing from the embassy at all. They got my case on the 9th. Surely, they should have sent me SOMETHING by now?

Yeah, same for me, The postman has been and no letter. So Monday it is, If it doesn't come on Monday then I will contact the embassy.

Edit: Maybe some will have the same interview dates, That would be cool to hangout at the embassy

No letter here either, so that's good. You interview date might have already been assigned.

I hope we all have the same interview dates! Would be nice to have someone to chat to while we're waiting!

Mine was updates 4 times we well. At least ONE of them has to be a letter. Not all of them can have been random misfirings inside the system, right? Haha!

I'm expecting something tomorrow im the mail, If not then I honestly don't know and might go into a cave to hide for a few weeks. Lol! So close but yet so far to the finish line

Here are my CEAC updates too (Medical was on 08/10, Packet 3 received on 09/10) if you wanted to compare:

06/10 - Changed to ready, submitted DS-160 and applicant readiness form

10/10 - I think this update was the "Packet 3.5 thing", letter was dated the 10th

I have in the meantime sent 2 emails to the embassy, still no packet 4 but interview date was assigned somewhere in there!

From my packet 3, it's dated the 2nd but when I contacted the embassy they said they sent it out on the 1st, soo the 2nd was a Thursday so if that last update was a letter it should be here tomorrow, I was expecting it on Saturday, But my gut feeling is telling me tomorrow *cross fingers *

But what I find annoying is, That there is no other way to find out what the interview date/time is other than their letter, Right?

I am going crazy! received an e-mail from the embassy saying that I need to complete my DS-160 and application of readiness. #######? I've done them! Lol! I did them like 3 and half weeks ago! Why are they doing this? My case has been touched/updated 4 times since then, Should I submit them again? what do I do?

I've sent an e-mail back to the embassy saying that I have completed them 3 weeks ago and that they should look at their system. Which leads me to think, Maybe the person who sent me the e-mail didn't look properly and that they have got them and it's just some stupid generic response?

I'm going out of my mind, i was hoping for thanksgiving with him this year, Looks like I can kiss that Idea goodbye :@
