Hello,

So I was preparing the I-864 (AOS) for four of my family members. I just have few questions though:

1. I will be retired of my work abroad soon, which means the salary will continue, so can I use this foreign earned income to sponsor my four family members?

2. If I couldn't sponsor them, and I found a joint sponsor, or two, do I still need to fill the I-864? If so, do I list my family members in it and my foreign income even if I'm not gonna be able to sponsor them?

3. According to the cover sheet, I have to provide documents and evidence like my own birth certificate and the AOS itself or the ones filled by joint sponsor(s), the question here is: Do I have to print out four copies for each family member of all these documents and mail them in the package or does one serve for all and suffice?

4. For the tax return requirement, does a copy of my tax return suffice? I couldn't get a transcript as I always got errors on the IRS site, but I can also print out the confirmation email that I got from my tax company after submitting my return and that say it has been accepted, can that work as an alternative to the transcript when accompanied by the 1040 and the 2555 that I have already filed?

If anyone knows an answer to any or all of these questions please let me know, I appreciate all your help.

Thank You

It can work but you need everything you submitted to make it complete tax return - 1040, W2, all schedules (if applicable) and 2555 and any other supplemental forms.
