AOS/EAD Question

TSC recieved our AOS/EAD/I-130 on January 20th, we were "touched" January 24th and recieved NOA1 for all 3. My husband also recieved a letter stating we would be getting another letter with an appointment for his biometrics. We still haven't recieved anything, and i'm wondering if anyone else got this letter before recieving an actual appointment. We're at day 47 and they say it's taking between 30 and 90 days. My husband is getting antsy and can't wait to start working! Any info would be greatly appreciated!

There seems to be some hold up for many of us who applied for AOS/EAD between the end of November and the end of January, no matter what service center your applications were sent to.

Our AOS/EAD apps were received by the NBC/Missouri Service Center on 19th December. Liam had his biometrics done on 22 February and we have had no information since then.

My husband, like yours, it getting really weirded out by not being able to work (it's been months, of course) and we cannot figure out what the hold up us since so many of us under similar circumstances have their approvals, and if not, at least have an interview date while still awaiting their EAD.

i hate to say this but i have seen many people waiting past 90 days to get the EAD.. well i guess just know for sure that if after 90 days from the NOA date u don't get n e thing.. u can do something about it..

Can't you make an infopass at the 91st day point and get an interim?

Our letter came quickly after NOA 1, a week later Anton was in for the biometrics... Must be where you are at in the country and what kind of work load INS has. We're lucky cause our local office is right here in Tucson...

We can. I phoned USCIS and was told we have to call back on 17 March (since their processing time is January 19 for EAD, I have to wait until they are 30 days outside of their processing time from the time CIS states they acknowledge receipt of the application. They received them on 12/19, but they acknowledge receipt on 27 December).

If we don't receive the EAD by 3/17, I will call back to find out what the options are.
