TSC looking sadder

TSC is looking pretty sick lately on Igor's list.. Up till a couple of weeks ago things were moving, but having slipped back and only a couple of small steps forward leaves us about neutral... and its getting depressing. Is that an accurate assessment of the current state of things or aren't many people completing their timelines?

I'd prefer to think it was the latter/

i also notice thesame thing and it keeps me wondering! i am really devasted i keep on checking always

Try not to be devastated just yet...or at all for that matter. You are only 2 months into the process and you knew going in that it would at least be 5 months for NOA2 so anything before that would be a blessing. After the transfers in August, the pace did pick up a bit at TSC and they are looking to average about 140 - 155 days now rather than 177-190 like earlier in the year. So don't worry knowing you still have about 3 months to go...that is a given but anything can happen in that time. You never know, another round of transfers could happen....the adjudicators could all awaken from their coma's...anything :).

Start thinking about what you will need after NOA2 and start gathering required (non time sensitive) documents so you are prepared when that day arrives. Until then, be patient and good things will come. Good luck :)

I wasn't expecting an approval for a few more months, just maybe on upward journey on the list.. but I guess I've been in this long enough to know not to look at it too often. Thanx

I know what you mean. The journey does move upward every day...sometimes at a snail's pace and other days like a supersonic jet...it all balances out eventually. It is difficult not to look at the list and to check your status online. I tried to avoid it like the plague but it is like an addiction and keeps pulling you back.

TSC is indeed looking more sad (not near as bad as the first half of the year though), but, I truly believe there will be more action to improve their processing soon. I don't think they achieved the results they were looking for with the last round of transfers so I think we will see another bulk transfer in the next month or two. They need better numbers before the end of the year for bonuses :). If no transfers, then maybe a swift kick in the bum to get their people engaged in a more serious and speedy fashion.

I will ask that you please don't do as I did and wait until 6 1/2 months before contacting your representatives. When you hit 5 months (if not sooner), start the ball rolling and don't look back. Put the blinders on and focus on your success and hammer those people relentlessly until you get what you want. THIS is all about you and your love. Nothing can stop you...nothing. The long wait is unbearable and at times, you may feel like giving up....I know I did...but like others have said...the approval will come when you least expect it and will knock your socks off....I truly feel punch drunk right now after getting my notice...I literally read it 20 times to make sure I wasn't dreaming...the feeling is incredible. I can't describe the hurt and pain watching others around you and way behind you expressing their joy on a daily basis while you sit and wait well beyond the average time...it truly hurts. I was happy for all the others but you can't help but feel almost cheated or beaten. The joy is worth the wait...it really is....you will feel it in no time.

Keep the discussions going...stay on each others side...comfort, console, cheer and ponder, above all, don't envy others as it will slow you down...the time will pass and you will be there. Trust....this is the hardest part (God I hope so :) )...it only gets easier.

I am hoping for everyone to have a smooth, happy and quick journey to bliss. We all deserve it.

It is horrible. They were doing so good.

And now for the last 2 weeks. Mostly all approvals. Are either people who put Texas in and transfered to cali the Same day.. So basicly they filed their timeline in wrong. So we get too see their amazing CSC approval. And make us feel even better. ?

Or there the april may transfers. They are slowing down so much again.

I feel like they are just standing by the coffe machine and drinking coffee all day long. And not doing anything. And and the end of the day their like. Ohh yeah let's approve one today. We totally forgot.

You're just 2 months in, just prepare to wait. It may take 5 or 6 months before you get approved but it will happen eventually. This process isn't for the faint of heart. Good luck!

And there was I, only a few months in with Texas, feeling sorry for myself. Lets all pray for Andie, lets all put our collective thoughts together and visualise Andie getting their NOA2!

Yep the TSC slowdown sucks, especially when you see CSC filers getting approved in 40-60 days. But thats life eh, good luck to them, it's USCIS that is unpredictable. They say 'We generally process cases in the order that we receive them', but that clearly is not the case. Maybe they need to improve the system. I'm sure the employees work hard, no doubt their is just not enough officers.

Key is not to try and check processing/case status too much, even though i know that's hard. In the scheme of life it's only a short time, even though the agony of separation is some days is like a dark cloud following you around. That cloud will soon reveal the rays of bright sunshine, our summers will come, just hang on in there and enjoy life the best you can!

p.s who is Igor?

p.s who is Igor?

He's that guy that always rubs the NOA2s in our face every night! Just kidding!

Here are the links:

Texas:

Or just use the drop downs on the page to with to viewing other service centers or refine the info.

It is awesome and I appreciate the effort put into it, but keep in mind that it is dependent on the forum users to update there statuses as they progress on the visa journey.

Unfortunately I do have the Igor's List addiction and it's driving me nuts already.
