:help: I am hoping that someone out there can help me and give me some advice on this. I was informed by an attorney who is helping me bring workers from Romania on H2B visa to come and work for the company I work for (that's how I met my husband), that I can bring my husband (who is awaiting approval on his I130) back to US on a visitor visa.

Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone out there done this process? He told me that this would be the only visa he can obtain that would not hinder his I130 petition. I don't want to apply for the I129F because based on the information I see, it's costly and everyone seems to be getting approval right around or at the same time as their I130.

Any info on the above would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you and as always Good Luck to all! :)

I believe countries with high rates of denials on tourist visas, Romania being one of them, you are putting up some risk applying for one. The I-130 process is not that incredibly long, and if he enters on a tourist visa, he'll have to go back for an interview anyway in a little bit. If he gets denied, he'll have some explaining to do at the consulate interview, why he started for a different visa, if he had one in the works. Sorry but I would wait it out, and not risk it.

Nanusia & Lukaszek,

Thanks for the advice, I will definately take everything you stated into consideration. As I mentioned, I don't want to hinder his chances of obtaining approval on his I130 and I was thinking in the same path as you that he probably does not have too much time left before he hears on the approval of his I130. I appreciate your feed back. Thank you very much!!!
