However, if you do pay on the day, it'll probably be cheaper, by a quid or two, the exchange rate favours the pound (I had to pay for two visas. I paid one in advance, because I had one payment slip and one on the day in the embassy and the one in the embassy was cheaper )

I just meant in general, a kind of, things move on really quickly thing. I did my medical in Birmingham before Nuffield lost the contract and that was only just over a year ago...actually, it seems a lifetime ago now
