Hi guys! Just sharing my experience. I hope somebody could ease the anxiouness I feel. We received an email from NVC stating that they'd reviewed our doucments and something is missing out. The instruction was for my wife to fill out the DS 260, but my wife did it already. We called the NVC and the customer service said disregard the email, they will review the DS 260. What was that? We can see in the CEAC portal if the DS 260 is completed, why they will email me such thing? Thank you guys. Also is that mean that the financial and supporting documents we sent are ok since it wasn't stated any missing document? thank you again.

As far as I know, they often make that mistake. Well since they already told you over the phone to disregard the email, that only means that they already have your DS260.

I can't assure you though regarding the financial and supporting documents, it's possible that they already have it as well but have not reviewed it yet. Let's hope for the best

Still waiting to mail the document packet. The joint sponsor bailed out at the last moment, when I was ready to mail. Now waiting for a different sponsor to gather their paperwork.

I would have mailed off the IV packet already, but apparently the rules have changed since last year and both IV and AoS packets have to be mailed together.

You probably will not get the IL letter until the PD becomes current, which would be March for you.

Unfortunately, my brother's PD is Sept. 15, which is the cutoff date, so he will have to wait 'til April.

My pd is 8 sep 2014 submitted doc then recvd letter that we have to re submit marriage certificate which we did and nvc recevd them on 9th nov 2015 according to them they will take another 30 days to review bt 30 days have been passed and we didnt received any notification.what to do now guys.i m much worried.

Dont worry, it won't take 30 days. Relax, in 1 or 2 weeks, you will get good news.

February would be awesome! It also says cutoff on the 1st, not the 15th. Even better.

Amnamahmood, you can call them or email them. I'd recommend calling. I sent them an e-mail this year and got a response 3 months later when I did not need it anymore.

I hope you mean 9/17/2014, not 2013.

They do not schedule interviews until your PD is current or very close to current. Nothing to worry about yet.
