Congrats! May I ask what questions they asked you?

Sure, I did a write up somewhere about how it went, I'll c/p.

We arrived on time, the lady came out and took us back to her office. She had our file out and we did the oath to tell the truth. Then she looked at our file and confirmed the information on it, like birth date, address. She asked for my passport and EAD card as well as my wife's state ID to copy at the machine. She asked for proof of residence so we gave her our rental agreement and utility letter. Then she asked my wife what day we were married, quick quiz question. Then she asked me the list of questions from the application for i-485. (all the things that I'd checked off 'No' to) And after that she asked me some questions about when we first met, whether we want kids, who's going to have them and what's going on with that. We told her that we're getting a puppy next week, we talked about that. She got us to sign any notes or changes she made to the application, which was just like adding that my daytime phone was a cell, etc. Then she told us we were approved, gave us a sheet and said I should get the card in the mail sometime between 10 days to a month.

It took about half an hour for the entire thing and the questions were pretty basic questions you get asked when you get married, right? When are the babies coming, how did you meet, how long have you been together.

Help!

For those who have an Interview waiver letter or are expecting one; can you please join in to get something added to the visajourney immigration timelines?

I started a thread here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/531703-aos-potential-interview-waivers-timeline/

Basically, we need something, ANYTHING to reflect data for those who won't be getting an interview to receive their 2 year conditional greencard.

This way we can estimate what percentage (25%, 50%, 75% etc) of AOS'ers actually get their greencard without an interview, and what timeframe is average to get the greencard from first filing AOS (It could be 6,9,12, or more months)

Please feel free to spread the word to get this ball rolling. :) Thanks!

Ours still says that too. We called USCIS and there's delays in many cities so there's no saying when it's going to be updated. The woman at USCIS we spoke to said that they are processing them by the month, but some cases get pulled based on the level of difficulty. If your case is easy, it's more likely to be pulled individually. We had mentioned that some other people in Wisconsin had either already had an interview or got a notice for an interview or a waiver while we had heard nothing yet. So depending on your specific case and where your city is at in terms of processing, you will be waiting.

I'd advise people to call USCIS and find out exactly where their filing center is at in terms of applications.

Just so I'm understanding this correctly;if you have an easy case it will get pulled and approved?
