Sweetswinks is right.. A lot of us have yet to hear anything and probably have months to go. 50% of October filers having dates definitely does not cover those of us adjusting from K1. I know that the Dallas office is a 6-8 month process so I do not plan to hear anything until at least April((

It take longer for people adjusting from K1 to get an interview scheduled? I wasn't aware of this. Your EAD definitely went pretty fast though :)

Those adjusting status from a K1 visa rarely get an interview at all, instead they are mailed a Potential interview Waiver letter which means no interview will take place but this will prolong the AOS by up to 12 months.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

Congrats!

Thanks! :)

Just wondering, is it possible to get your SSN the same day you apply? I read somewhere that you can get a printout 1-2 days after you apply. I'm so ready to start work, and I really want to get the SSN to be on the payrolls..

I'm very interested in knowing this too, as I have read about people filing for SSN right after they got their AED and the database used by the Social Security Administration to verify the authenticity has not yet been updated by USCIS.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/294999-social-security-card-after-ead-card/

If anyone has confirmation/infirmation of this, that would be very helpful.

Does anyone know who we call for information on our AOS case status? Is it USCIS? If we find out we might have our interview waived and have to wait even longer, as long as we submitted the 485 we can submit the AP request form and not have to pay the fee correct?

If your k1 , then 99% of the time the interview is waived. From what I have seen the 6 months time usually starts after you get ur ead card. You can call uscis and ask, they might tell you . And yes you can submit I-131 with your I-485. Reciept and then you don't have to pay the fee
