Hunter 972 thank you so much for your fast replies and the info on it that was of a lot of help :)

Lol that is weird that they do that, so applying for EAD is kinda useless if you only receive it after GC being approved, but my I-765 EAD or Advance paralole still on the first thing I received, no updates about card production for it, the only thing that updated was my I-485 saying ready to be schedule for interview

I sometimes worry that they might be harsh on the interview cause I came on a tourist visa, but my husband is a US citizen and when I came I had no intentions to stay, still was studying law in my home country and was on vacations, also it was my first visit to the USA and my first time to visit his family, so we barely knew each other in person, cause we had a 2 year relationship through skype and virtually... but anyway :) thank you and yes, we applied for I-130/I-1485/I765 all together I am sure that we gonna be fine cause we live together and it IS a true marriage :) So you think that is very basic questions because we did a concurrent filling ? Thanks a lot and good luck for all of us in that journey :D

You will be fine! My husband came on a tourist visa and overstayed for 5 years lol. His "intent" was never questioned. We also received our I-485 interview notice before any EAD or AP updates. In fact, we only received update that the EAD card was being produced ONE day before our interview. As for the interview, it was easy breezy. We were just asked the basic biographical questions that are on the forms you submitted. As long as you're in a genuine marriage, you'll have no issues. It's more the anxiety of the unknown. Once you're done, you'll realize you did all this worrying for nothing! Best of luck to you!

!!!! After getting the RFE notice, I immediately contacted our congressman, who has helped us since the 129 petition, and she requested an inquiry. Well, they looked into it, and IT WAS A MISTAKE!! :)

His EAD/AP is now in production!!! WooohooO!!!

Merry Christmas lol

From the email: " A review of Mr. Ray’s files indicates the Requests for Evidence (RFE) sent for his Forms I-765 and I-131 were unnecessary for the further review of those applications. His Forms I-765 and I-131 were approved today, 12/19/2014, and an Employment Authorization/Travel Document combo card has been sent for production. Once the card has been produced, a tracking number will be provided on “Check your Case Status” online at www.uscis.gov. This number can be tracked using USPS.com."

So happy!

So, to anyone else, who got the RFE for the EAD, maybe you should contact them, or your congressman.

Anyone else still waiting for the next step who filed late October to the Chicago office? We had our biometrics on 11/10 and have had no RFEs and still waiting. I know it's normal to have lengthy, just wondering if anyone else with this time frame/location still waiting. Is it 60 days without any change that you have to wait to call?

Hi!, My husband and I are moving on December 27th within NYC but changing boroughs( from Queens to Manhattan). The application for adjustment of status was accepted on October 2nd, 2014. It was a concurrent filing and I just got notification that the EAD is in production. I am trying to figure out what the best way to proceed with the change of address is. Also, I know that if you change states and even cities, the field office is changed but would that happen in my case since we are just moving within NYC. Does anyone have any experience with this or any insight into this? Any feedback will be highly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

ps: NYC has two field offices. Seems like the default field office for queens is Woodside and for Manhattan is federal plaza.

If you do change your address, make sure you change the address with uscis and call them to make sue it's in the system. Since your ead is in production, your next step is interview. So make sure they have the current address so you don't miss your interview, or after your status changes, I think you can call them and ask them for the date and the time. I think.

I am sooooo irritated right now!!! I just got a RFE TODAY, when i actualy filed at the beginning of october... and the rfe is about my name!

It pretty much says that they are confused about my legal name because i filled all the documents out in my married name (because thats how i was supposed to do it right????) so now they want me to send my marriage certificate (which i of course already did with the forms...) and also a sworn affidavit that states my maiden and married names and all my used aliases (which are none). Had anyone of you had this rfe? i just dont understand... i thought everybody who files through a k1 visa files for the greencard with the married name right?

sent our aos package to chicago: October 3rd

usps said it got there: October 8th

NOA1: October 14th...

Biometrics Apointment: November 20th

waiting...

Here is what it says online.

On December 22, 2014, we suspended processing of your case, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXX, because we need more information from you. Your notice explains what we need from you to resume work on your case. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your request for initial evidence notice by January 21, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice.
