They said first if I don't get the card in 2 weeks to go back to SSA and then I asked how long will really take she told me 7 to 10 days . So we will see

I'm sorry. The not working thing is getting rough, not sure we can make it another 2 months.... :(

I know I feel the same I just want to get out of the house and work and start earning money, I am just annoyed that they waited until day 74 to send out the RFE.

I am sure it is something easy it is just annoying that they tell you online that they have sent a RFE but you have to wait for the letter to find out what for! Seems a bit backwards!! Anyway another day in the house!! :)

So my case finally updated, My I-485 updated online for ''As of December 15, 2014, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number xxxxxx for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice.''

So Just thought that it was weird cause I thought I would receive my EAD/AP first, but anyway...

Did anyone else got scheduled for interview BEFORE any updates on I-765? Is that normal?

I was thinking my EAD card would come before my interview

If anyone has links with tips for interview and kind of questions they ask feel free to send me :) me and my husband are anxious lol

Its completely normal, they will send you the letter atleast one month before the interview so will get your Ead by then. I have seen someone get their ead after their greencard has been approved lol

If you filed for I-130 and I-485 together, then the will just ask you basic question, like when did you meet and how did you meet, basic info about parents and all that, stress level will be 1/10,mostly 30 minutes top.

Hunter 972 thank you so much for your fast replies and the info on it that was of a lot of help :)

Lol that is weird that they do that, so applying for EAD is kinda useless if you only receive it after GC being approved, but my I-765 EAD or Advance paralole still on the first thing I received, no updates about card production for it, the only thing that updated was my I-485 saying ready to be schedule for interview

I sometimes worry that they might be harsh on the interview cause I came on a tourist visa, but my husband is a US citizen and when I came I had no intentions to stay, still was studying law in my home country and was on vacations, also it was my first visit to the USA and my first time to visit his family, so we barely knew each other in person, cause we had a 2 year relationship through skype and virtually... but anyway :) thank you and yes, we applied for I-130/I-1485/I765 all together I am sure that we gonna be fine cause we live together and it IS a true marriage :) So you think that is very basic questions because we did a concurrent filling ? Thanks a lot and good luck for all of us in that journey :D

Ya don't worry, just gather all your documents and pictures, you will be fine. Take everything you have to the interview. The more evidence they see, the more easy it will be.

Thanks a lot, just a last question,Should I bring even pictures and documents that I already sent with my package plus the new ones , or just the new ones? Do you know if there is the need to bring the copy of the forms that I have?
