Today my husband and I received the biometrics appointment date. Super excited! Does anyone know what happens in the biometrics appointment besides fingerprints? I am going to do some research tonight too.

10.20.2014 NOA e-mail received for all 4. No txt msg. (Day 7)
10.24.2014 NOA received in mail. (Day 11)

10.30.2014 Biometrics appt letter received in mail. (Day 17)

11.13.2014 Biometrics appt Bronx/NY. [ DONE ✓✓✓ ] (Day 31)

11.26.2014 I-485 Status Changed : Ready for Interview (Day 44)

12.23.2014 I-765 : New Card is being produced (Day 71)

I-131: Case was approved.

12.31.2014 Card Was Mail to me (Day 79)

01.03.2015 Card Received (Day 82)

09.05.2020 Re-scheduled Biometrics Appointment letter sent for 09/22/2020 USCIS Bronx. 

09.22.2020 Went to appointment, took biometrics. Walk out in less than 5 mins. 

03.06.2021 Online Notification of Interview Scheduled. 

03.08.2021 Online Letter available Interview Scheduled for 04/15/2021.

K-1 Visa -  Date of arrival to US  Aug 30, 2014

Married September 26, 2014

AOS: SEPT 24th, 2015 GREEN CARD RECEIVED !! 

ROC:  Oct 10, 2018    Approval of ROC via online USCIS site.  

Naturalization: March 26th, 2021 Approved!!

As of 2022, we are working towards moving back to Australia likely in 2025.

You get your picture taken as well, that picture will appear on your EAD and GC

8/29/14- Sent AOS Package

9/2/14- Delivered to Chicago lockbox

9/5/14- Received texts with receipt numbers, Online status updated for all four cases to " Acceptance" & " Initial review "

9/9/14- NOA1 hard copies received in mail

9/12/14- Biometrics letter recieved ( Date set for 9/22/14 )

9/15/14- Biometrics completed

9/16/14- Submitted EAD Expedite through congressman

9/24/14- Case moved to " Testing and interview "

9/26/14- EAD and AP Approved

10/2/14- EAD Mailed

10/3/14- EAD 'Delivered'.. but never recieved :ranting:

10/16/14- Interview date received for 11/19 - My birthday! :D

11/19/14- Interview day- Approved- PR status registered & Welcome letter mailed

11/24/14- Welcome letter recieved

11/26/14- GC Mailed

11/29/14- GC Received

Got the Biometrics appt letter in the mail today. :) We are being sent to Atlanta, which is waaaayyyyyy better bc I thought we would have to drive 7 hrs to Memphis. Whew. ATL is only 3.5 hrs.

AOS, EAD, and AP sent Monday October 20! Looks like they received it yesterday Oct 22nd so hopefully I'll get a notification via email or text within a week. Good luck everyone!

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

It depends on your local uscis office. You can go on their website to see their process times for interviews. That will give you an idea on how long it will take.
